When I first arrived in Colombia, I was curious about the country. In the bustling streets of the capital, Bogotá, I felt the energy and charm of the city. I was fascinated by the passionate music, the colorful art and the warm smiles of the people. Gradually, I adapted to life here, learned Spanish, and immersed myself in this vibrant and welcoming culture.
Life in Colombia is very varied, and I have had the privilege of participating in local cultural celebrations and festivals. For example, the military parade to celebrate Independence Day, the colorful celebrations and the passionate dance performances all made me feel the pride and enthusiasm of the Colombian people.
In addition to city life, I also explored the countryside and discovered the beauty of nature. Colombia's natural landscapes are magnificent and diverse, from the majesty of the Andes Mountains to the mystical wonders of the Amazon rainforest. I've hiked through valleys, seen spectacular waterfalls, and been up close to the abundant wildlife in the rainforest.
During these six years, I was not just a traveler, but a participant. I participated in volunteer activities in the local community and contributed to community building.
