Lin Baishui was born on January 17, 1874. He has 2 former names: Lin Badger and Lin Wanli. Zi Shaoquan, Xuanfan, retired scholar, vernacular Taoist, a native of Qingpu Village, Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

He is a famous journalist, newspaperman and journalist in China's modern history.

In 1901, he became the chief writer of Hangzhou Vernacular Newspaper. In the winter of the same year, he went to Shanghai and established the China Education Association with Cai Pei and others and organized the Patriotic Society. After studying in Japan, he studied law at Waseda University and studied journalism, and joined the League.
