Lin Baishui was born on January 17, 1874. He has 2 former names: Lin Badger and Lin Wanli. Zi Shaoquan, Xuanfan, retired scholar, vernacular Taoist, a native of Qingpu Village, Fuzhou, Fujian Province.
He is a famous journalist, newspaperman and journalist in China's modern history.
In 1901, he became the chief writer of Hangzhou Vernacular Newspaper. In the winter of the same year, he went to Shanghai and established the China Education Association with Cai Pei and others and organized the Patriotic Society. After studying in Japan, he studied law at Waseda University and studied journalism, and joined the League.
In 1916, he began to engage in journalism, founding Hangzhou Vernacular Newspaper, China Vernacular Newspaper, Beijing Gongyan Bao, New Social Daily (later changed to Social Daily), Shanghai Pinghe Daily, etc.
In August 1926, he was arrested and killed by Zhang for repeatedly attacking the warlord Zhang Zongchang in editorials.
His books include "Sword Qi Green", "Narrative of the Golden Stone of the Red Chamber in The Spring of Life", "The Source of the Constitutions of Various Countries", and "The Remains of Mr. Lin Baishui".
