Jiangsu Province January 2024 climate prediction monthly extreme minimum temperature -13~-10 °C!

In the past one month (December 1-December 28, 2023), the average temperature is 2.5°C in Huaibei, 4.0°C between Jianghuai and 5.1°C in southern Jiangsu, and 1.0°C lower than that in the same period of the year, 1.2°C lower in Huaibei region, 1.2°C lower in Jianghuai region, and 1.2°C lower in southern Jiangsu.
In the past one month (December 1-December 28, 2023), the precipitation was 49.3 mm in Huaibei, 55.7 mm between Jianghuai and 45.8 mm in southern Jiangsu, and 160.8% more in Huaibei region, 79.1% more in Jianghuai and 15.9% more in southern Jiangsu compared with the same period in normal years.
Temperature forecast
It is expected that the average temperature in January 2024 will be 0~1°C higher than normal in most parts of the province. The extreme minimum temperature of the month is -13~-10 °C in Huaibei and -11~-7 °C in other areas.
There were three cooling processes in the province, which occurred in the late part of early January, late mid-January and late January.
Precipitation forecast
It is expected that the precipitation in most parts of the province in January 2024 will be 0~2 percent more than normal.
