In 1961, Gong Yipeng entered the Shandong men's basketball team after graduating from Jinan Sports School. In 1967, he married Gao Qinfang of the Shandong women's basketball team, and gave birth to his son Gong Xiaobin two years later.
Gong Xiaobin was born a good seedling to play basketball, and his adult body is 2.02 meters tall. He is handsome, has chic ball skills, and has quite a fan base.
In 1986, Gong Xiaobin was selected for the Shandong men's basketball team, and participated in the National Men's Basketball Championship in the same year, with an eye-catching performance.

After the end of the Sixth National Games in 1987, Gong Yipeng served as the head coach of the Shandong men's basketball team, and Gong Xiaobin played under his father.
