Mian County is located on the bank of the Han River in southern Shaanxi Province and is a small city with a long history. Mian County was originally known as "沔 (miǎn) County", which was named after the water. Mian County has unique tourism resources, suitable for humanity and nature, and is a beautiful place. In order to understand the connotation and characteristics of hometown culture, the children of Yifu Primary School in Mianxian County began a search for hometown culture.

The activity is divided into six themes, such as hometown folklore, landscape culture, language culture, food culture, etc., according to the age characteristics of the children, the children in the teacher, parents under the leadership and guidance, through pictures, videos and stories and other ways to understand the scenic spots, human geography and hometown specialties of Mian County. The children's perspective is unique, and they record their unique hometown with hand-copied newspapers.

During the event, some of the works selected by each class were exhibited, and the exquisite works attracted many students to stop and appreciate, and the children discovered and spread the long-standing culture of their hometown from the works.

Mian County Yifu Primary School will continue to explore and practice, through various ways and channels, to guide the children to know their hometown through their own eyes and little hands, praise their hometown, truly appreciate the beauty of their hometown from their hearts, sow the seeds of "love for their hometown and love Mian County" in the hearts of children, and germinate the lofty ideal of growing up and contributing to their hometown.
