Sohu Fashion: Tell us about your role in Sohu Fashion's AI creative short film?

Wang Yaoqing: I play a mathematician, and I have a lot of pictures in my head.

Sohu Fashion: What is the unique feeling of shooting AI short films?

Wang Yaoqing: A lot of what you see is an effect completed with the help of post-production special effects, and when filming this kind of thing that needs to be completed by relying on post-production technology, in fact, the actor himself must have a great sense of belief, that is, he believes that what he thinks will eventually be presented on the screen, so that he will have more confidence in acting.

Sohu Fashion: Do you usually pay attention to topics such as chatGPT and AI?

Wang Yaoqing: Recently, there was a very famous illustration in the New York Times of a robot helping a person crumple paper into a ball of paper and pile it into a tower. In fact, the way chatGPT is like this, that is, everyone is surprised that it can do a lot of things, or everyone is discussing whether AI will replace humans. Actually, if you think about it, it actually has a lot of qualities that we want to have, for example, they can draw a conclusion based on all your past experiences, but all of these conclusions are based on what has happened in the past, including the language it uses. So it's great because it can remember, it can find what you don't remember, and who doesn't want to have an amazing memory and be able to learn from the past. Therefore, it is very powerful because in fact, we usually ignore or do not grasp what kind of logic, it must be a very convenient tool. But whether you say that it can be innovative or not depends on what kind of imagination human beings have for the future.

Sohu Fashion: Do you think it is possible for AI to achieve real-life acting skills in the future?

Wang Yaoqing: I hope not, and I don't think so, because there are two kinds of people: one is the actor and the other is the person who watches. Whether the viewer can distinguish between the AI and the real person's performance depends on the difference between the performer and the AI's performance, in fact, it is nothing more than a smart. When we perform, we are talking about rhythm as an aura and a breath, and this emotion is expressed in many ways, of course, through powerful computing power, AI may also cover many aspects. But I still believe that this emotion is the soul.

Sohu Fashion: film and television dramas, dramas, variety shows, books, documentaries...... What is the job you put the most effort into?

Wang Yaoqing: The most time-consuming is probably a passive outcome. There are some things that just take a lot of time, like drama. Because it has to be rehearsed for a long time, to find all kinds of possibilities. I probably don't have an obvious order of preferences for these things, because it's all something I'm interested in. And I think there are a lot of things that I can benefit from it.

Sohu Fashion: What other jobs do you want to try before?

Wang Yaoqing: That's what I've been thinking about, and what Edward Lam inspires me the most is that usually when we go to watch a movie or a drama or read a book, we share it with others, and we say what I see. You see how well that actor plays or you see a lot of details in that plot, he, the director, but never ask what you didn't see. Usually we don't quite answer questions like this, I don't see anything. I believe that in many industries, there is this, that is, have I missed something? This may be another key to success, let you get rid of the habitual thinking, make you different from others in one place, is that I don't see anything. So when you say there's something you haven't done, it's that I'm thinking about it, and there's so much I haven't done. Actually, I want to go skiing, but it may be difficult for me to find time to ski in such a schedule, there are so many things I want to learn Xi, and I find that many people think that you must have enough experience or go through certain stages or certifications before they think that you are a so-called qualified or professional person. There are so many wonderful things in this world waiting to be explored every day, so there are so many things I want to do, both the ones that come to mind and the ones that I didn't think of.

Sohu Fashion: In such a busy situation, why do you insist on doing "Interview with Craftsmen"?

Wang Yaoqing: It's actually a time arrangement and what kind of ideas you have. Even when another variety show was busy a few months ago, he could complete about four episodes of "Interview with a Craftsman". Because I like a word called accumulate, in fact, it is a day arch, you accumulate a little bit of something every day, and time will make it different from others. So I've always wanted to accumulate whether it's good grades or works, because I believe that if I can make a six-episode "Interview with a Craftsman" a year, then it will give back to me in three or five years, that is, I have met so many people, visited so many beautiful things, and then tried to share these with everyone. It always has to accumulate through time, so I try to do as many things as possible in the limited time, hoping that through time, they will accumulate into my own wealth.

Sohu Fashion: From the literary male god to the image of "uncle", which is the real you?

Wang Yaoqing: Actually, everyone should have many facets. Now the way you talk to me, you may not talk to your family, you may not talk to your boss the way you talk to your usual girlfriends, but you are still you. We all use different occasions and different ways to hope to create a possible perception of us. For an actor, in fact, part of his job is to express it appropriately, and this is part of the job. That's what I am, in fact, it's all my side, I'll have very quiet times, I'll have very noisy times, it's just where you see it and whether it's appropriate to be seen on that occasion. When I go on a variety show, I may need to arouse everyone's happy atmosphere, and on the drama stage, I may need to pay attention to conveying the emotions of the character itself, and when we conduct interviews like this, it is more often to discuss my perception of certain things, and it is not the same. But whoever is me, he's all me.

Sohu Fashion: Is "comedian" what you want to be?

Wang Yaoqing: I have no way to influence what others think, because other people's perception of you may come from limited sources of information, for example, if I read one of your articles or one of your reports, I may think that you are like this, but if I don't know you, I may lack a comprehensive judgment about you. So it's hard for us to influence people or to tell people what I'm like. I am not what I am and there is no need. In fact, each person is the master of his own life, but we are all passers-by in other people's lives.

Sohu Fashion: Are you afraid of bottlenecks?

Wang Yaoqing: Actually, it is also a perception of others, because for me, I have never received a role, and his profession is boss. This person should have some professional influences, his perception of many things, and the way he gets along with others, and each play should be different. That's how I make that difference, and that's something I'm very curious about and find interesting.

Sohu Fashion: Let's talk about the father you played in "Extraordinary Doctor"?

Wang Yaoqing: First of all, this must be a team effort, and secondly, when interpreting this role, I was very surprised by one thing, because I think parents all over the world, if their children are suffering or need to do any organ transplants, they should not hesitate. That's why I said earlier in the plot that he had made a lot of attempts and twists in the front of the plot just because he avoided doing this. The director team said that they had actually done research, but in fact, there were still most of them, and even if their parents didn't agree to do it at the first time, which was a surprise to me. But he must be based on some realistic considerations, then in fact, this play is just present: I ended a not very good relationship, and then I now have a new life, he is able to feel that the world is quite good, and then tell you that this thing is risky, you may lose everything, and he will think that is just that: then should I gamble? So I think he actually let everyone see that if you understand his entanglement, you can understand why he is a pity about this matter, and I think it is a pity that moves everyone in the end.

Sohu Fashion: As an actor, do you think it is important to have a "super sense" function?

Wang Yaoqing: Actually, it's super sensibility, of course, it's extremely important. For an actor to be able to make a good performance, he has accumulated a lot of things, and this sensitivity must be very important.

Sohu Fashion: What are some ways to quickly "burn" yourself?

Wang Yaoqing: When you are curious about the world, you want to be able to find out what is different about it, or to get along better with others and the world, and you want to do more different things, life can be so interesting.

Sohu Fashion: Can you give some suggestions to young people to "burn up"?

Wang Yaoqing: I'm also trying to convince myself that this must be a process, including thinking back to when I was their age, they didn't know so much about the rules of the world and the way they relate to others. Even now, I still haven't figured out how to get along with other people. If even I haven't learned a lot of things until now, how can we hope that our next generation or the young people of today will quickly master some life skills or principles, and then we expect them to have youthful vitality and be motivated to do a lot of things? On the one hand, we hope that they will not be afraid of failure, but we also preach that success is so glamorous. So this society itself is full of a lot of conflicts so that young people may feel at a loss, we don't give them a relief, or tell them that you have many ways to identify with yourself, in fact, the point is not what others think of you, the point is whether you have found a way to get along with yourself. In fact, this is not only young people, in fact, each of us is looking for a way to make ourselves settle down in our lives, we hope that we can not only meet the requirements and values of this society or others, but also be able to say that I am doing well at this level of self-satisfaction, which is a mutual process. So people will think that the reason why they rebelled is because we don't want any more 996, we just don't roll now, and some people are like this, just trying to find themselves. I've been convincing myself to give them time to really find themselves and how to relate to the world.
