Bird Watching on the Lakeside of Sword Lake - Bird Encounters All the Way to the West 3

author:The Bull Demon King's journey to the west

This bird encounter all the way to the west, the trip to Sword Lake is the most amazing, there is no one.

On the first day of arriving at Sword Lake, head straight to Sword Lake Wetland Park. The Jianhu Wetland Park is very large, and Lao Niu randomly chose the first trestle path on the left side of the wetland park to walk into, and then inadvertently forked to the second path to the lake.

A lot of birch trees are planted in the wetland by the lake, and the leaves are basically lost in winter, but under the blue sky and white clouds of Sword Lake, this neat birch forest is very spectacular and shocking, and it is very brilliant to take pictures no matter how you take them.

When I arrived at the lake, I found that there were a lot of water birds here. There is not much to say about the white bone top, the red bone top small grebe, and the pochard and wild duck, after all, the old cow has seen too much in Dianchi Lake and Xibi Lake.

There are a lot of ruddy shelducks everywhere by the sword lake, the distance is very close, one-to-one pairs or a pile of piles, the ruddy shelducks flutter their wings and fly, in fact, they are also very beautiful, the feathers of the wings have a green luster, and there are some bright spots. In addition, if another pair of ruddy shelducks suddenly break into the territory of a pair of ruddy shelducks, most of them will cause a fight, the two ruddy shelduck husbands fought very well on the water, and the ruddy shelduck husband who won the fight continued to beat the water to show off its invincibility in front of his wife for a long time, and it is also very good to photograph.

In addition to the ruddy shelduck, there are also many wild ducks such as red-headed pochard and red-necked duck, as well as some green-winged ducks. The head and wings of the mallard duck have a prominent green color, but the green feathers are similar to the green color of the mallard's head, and the color effect will vary depending on the direction of the light.

What is more conspicuous in the Jianhu Wetland is that there are many purple pheasants here, and you can often shoot many purple pheasants foraging together or chasing each other at close range.

It is said that there are more than 1,600 purple pheasants living in the Jianhu wetland, most of which belong to the purple and green pheasants, so it is a high probability event to encounter purple pheasants by the edge of the Sword Lake, and winter is no exception.

Brightly colored, in addition to the purple water pheasant, there are also a lot of crested wheat chickens here in Jianhu Lake are also frequently infested in the Jianhu wetland. Sometimes you can photograph a flock of fifty or sixty crested grouses flying in the sky, or many crested grouses foraging by the lake, sometimes alone, and most of the time mixed with other birds to feed.

Although the crested wheat grouse has beautiful plumage, it is small in size and not easy to spot. But the gray goose is different, the size is the same as the domestic goose, there are too many gray geese in the Jianhu wetland, some of them forage on the grass or water surface by the lake, the gray goose and the ruddy shelduck These wild ducks forage the same, they are all stuck in the water, the butt is facing the sky, sometimes the head on the water surface has not yet the butt to the sky, it is really very funny.

From time to time, the gray geese fly in groups, and sometimes a large flock of gray geese land on the surface of the lake, all of which are just as beautiful as words.

Standing on the shore of Sword Lake, you can also see peregrine falcons and cormorants hunting by the water's edge, black-necked cranes soaring in the sky, or harrier eagles circling.

It's just that the Jianhu wetland is actually very large, and the equipment for shooting birds is very heavy, so it is difficult to carry the early birds everywhere, so you can only guard somewhere, waiting for the miracle of bird luck.
