"Fisherman of the East China Sea" Professor Zhang Chuanbin "Hundred Fish" Chinese painting works

author:Literature and art of Jiangsu and Zhejiang

Fish painting, an important part of traditional Chinese painting, is well-known in the world for its long history, unique style and high artistic value.

In the history of Chinese painting, there have been many famous fish painters, such as Bada Shanren, Xu Gu, Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Pan Tianshou, Wang Yachen, Zhao Shaoang, Li Kuchan, Wu Zuoren, Wu Qingxia and Chen Dayu. However, the fish they painted were all freshwater fish in rivers, lakes and rivers, and how to paint the sea fish vividly and meaningfully is a big gap in the history of Chinese painting.

More than 90% of the fish drawn in the "Hundred Fish Map" are marine fish, such as "butterfly fish", "anglerfish", "leaf Arowana", "money fish", "guppies", "treasure fish", "hairtail fish", "salmon", "flying fish", "stone fish", "angelfish", "clownfish", "birthday fish" and marine zodiac fish.

The ocean is the source of all living things, and "Hundred Fish" calls on people to treat the ocean well, respect the ocean, and protect the ocean, so that our future generations can witness the gorgeous and cheerful fish swimming in the ocean......
