After the 3-2 defeat at Manchester United, Villa boss Unai Emery was unconvinced. Speaking after the game, the Spanish coach said that Villa were the better team on the pitch if they only looked at the first 60 minutes.

Villa were outstanding in the first hour of the game, leading 2-0 at one point, and 2-1 at 60 minutes before missing a counter-attack. If the game ends there, Villa will have three points.
