Thai police have found a large number of guns in the residence of a local collector in Bangkok. Police seized more than 35 firearms and a large number of bullets. The homeowners are lovers of Japanese collectibles and guns, but have no intention of selling or misusing them.

According to relevant sources, in the past few days, Thai police have seized 111 guns and ammunition from residents of Prachinbhu Province to crack down on illegal possession of firearms. Public safety is taken seriously.

Yesterday (December 25), Bangkok Deputy Police Chief Naris Prathanaporn, Palace Police Chief Phawat Worathusuphat, and Palace Police Deputy Chief Paisan Dechakalya ordered an inspection of the property. The Palace Police Department Investigator Officer Plawat Khongkha and his team executed the court order issued by the Dalim Tan Criminal Court yesterday (December 24).

The search was carried out at a house in Soi Thanasuksan 1, a village located at Phetkasem Road, Bang Bon Road 5, Nong Khaem District, Bangkok. According to Khao Sod, 35 firearms were found during the search operation, including 10 pistols and 25 rifles, as well as a large number of bullets.

The owner is a businessman who collects Japanese items and loves to collect guns. He has no intention of selling or using these weapons for any illegal activities. Preliminary inspections revealed that the firearms were awaiting licensing, and some of the components did not have legal permits. Authorities charged the owner with possession of firearms and ammunition without a permit. The confiscated evidence has been handed over to investigators at the Palace Police Department for further legal proceedings.
