On December 26, with the D9958 train leaving Longyan Station, the Longyan to Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway, which took four years to build, was officially put into operation.
Longlong high-speed railway starts from Longyan Station, Longyan City, Fujian Province, and ends at Longchuan West Station, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, with a total length of 290 kilometers, according to the construction of three sections from Longyan to Wuping, Wuping to Meizhou, and Meizhou to Longchuan West. The Longyan to Wuping section opened this time, the total length of the line is 92 kilometers, including 64 kilometers of new lines, the design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and 4 stations of Longyan, Gutian meeting site, Shanghang and Wuping.
The maximum speed of the Longyan to Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway is 250 kilometers per hour. At the beginning of operation, the railway department will arrange to run up to 6 trains per day, and Wuping Station to Longyan Station can be reached in 45 minutes at the earliest, and the train operation plan will be further optimized and improved according to the demand for passenger flow.
The new line from Longyan to Wuping section of Longlong high-speed railway is 64 kilometers, with complex geological conditions along the way, and the ratio of bridges and tunnels exceeds eighty. In more than four years of construction, the builders have opened 23 tunnels and built 40 bridges. With the first train passing through tunnels and bridges and arriving at Wuping Station, Wuping County, Fujian Province ended its history of not being connected to the railway, and people have a new choice for travel.
After the Longyan-Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway is put into operation, it will further improve the railway network structure in western Fujian, which is of great significance for facilitating the travel of the people along the line, driving the development of tourism resources, and promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the old revolutionary base area.

Shanghang Station
Shanghang Station is located in Shanghang County, Longyan City, with an area of about 10,000 square meters and a station scale of 2 sets and 6 lines.
The appearance of the whole station building is like a huge gold ingot, standing on the shore of the Tingjiang River, highlighting the design concept of "Hangchuan blessed land, Jinou treasure, Hakka source, Fulu peace", and contains a profound Hakka cultural connotation.
There are bronze murals hanging at both ends of the hall of Shanghang Station, one of which shows the scene of the Gutian Conference, indicating the important position of Shanghang as the former site of the Gutian Conference. Passengers can experience the red culture and continue the red gene on the way.
The other is the new appearance of Shanghang City, showing the natural scenery of the local "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Ecological Blessed Land", highlighting the beautiful meaning of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".
Wuping Station
Wuping Station is located in Shifang Town, Wuping County, with an area of about 7,000 square meters and a station scale of 2 sets and 4 lines.
The appearance of the station building of Wuping Station highlights the traditional architectural style of "Zhuxia in the middle of the sky, cultural Wuping", with a "white egret" perched in the green water and green mountains that is about to take off as the design idea, presenting the design shape of "a line of egrets on the blue sky", implying that after years of development, Wuping has continued to improve the quality of the ecological environment, and has embarked on a road of "ecological priority and green development".
The sunshade louvers on the front façade of the station building are spread out layer by layer from the middle to the two sides, like the white and flawless flawless feathers of the egret when it spreads its wings. At the same time, the front façade is shaped by the word "Ping" of "Wuping", which means that passengers "enter and exit safely" and "enjoy peace", and also expresses that Wuping will welcome guests from all over the world and a better future with a new attitude.
