In 1990, Ding Zongjian, who was only 22 years old, set out from Huangtuba Village, Genshankou Township, Jingzhou Miao and Dong Autonomous County, and started a three-year military life in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City. During this time, he met comrades-in-arms from all over the world, and also met Mr. Chen, who changed the trajectory of his life. After retiring from the army, Ding Zongjian was invited by Mr. Chen to come to Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province to study Xi and engage in seedling production.
The children of Dashan have a natural perception of seedling forests, and Ding Zongjian's skill level has become richer with the increase of working years, and the characteristics of various species are at his fingertips.

In 2012, inspired by the entrepreneurship policy in his hometown, Ding Zongjian returned to Jingzhou from the coast with experience and funds. In Ding Zongjian's view, Jingzhou not only has abundant seedling resources, but also has favorable conditions such as transportation, water sources, soil, and policies that provide fertile soil for starting a business. He invested more than 17 million yuan to establish Jingzhou Longxiang Seedling Cultivation and Development Co., Ltd., and transferred 1,100 acres of land to plant cinnamon and a small number of crape myrtle trees for both medicine and food in the Dengta Village section of National Highway 209.
With rich experience and excellent technology, Ding Zongjian's seedling entrepreneurship road has gone smoothly and smoothly. In the past 11 years, the seedling base has continued to develop, with an annual revenue of more than 1 million yuan. Under his leadership, 16 poverty alleviation households working at the base have been stabilized in their posts, and more than 20 veterans have achieved employment at their doorsteps.
"I also work part-time when I go far away, and I can get more than 4,000 yuan a month for working at home, not only with social security, but also with free time, and I can do farm work in my spare time. Lin Yongjun, a retired soldier from the same village, said frankly that Ding Zongjian was willing to work hard and treat people generously, and his life became more and more prosperous with his help.
Business is going well, but how to lead more villagers and comrades-in-arms to get rich, Ding Zongjian has been thinking.
In 2014, when Ding Zongjian was looking for seedlings and ancient trees in Jiulong Mountain, Jingzhou, a "ancient character" green money willow made him feel very happy. Ding Zongjian, who has a keen sense of business, immediately realized that this was another "gift" given to him by nature.

Subsequently, he recruited 10 retired soldiers who dared to think and worked hard, and jointly established the Qingqian Willow Cooperative. With the help of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Jingzhou County Party Committee and County Government, we have established a cooperative relationship with the Hunan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine to carry out technical research on polysaccharides and flavonoids to further enhance the added value of products.

Ding Zongjian told reporters that the cooperative, through the form of industrial assistance, drove the villagers to plant green money willow together, and then purchased and sold at a price of 50 to 60 yuan a kilogram.

At the beginning of planting, due to Ding Zongjian's misjudgment, the artificial dwarf green money willow was planted under the sun, resulting in the death of 20 hectares of tree species, directly causing economic losses of nearly 700,000 yuan. "It's a big blow to us, but it's also good that we have difficulties and we are more able to identify problems. Through this incident, Ding Zongjian understands that the life Xi of artificially bred tree species does not necessarily change.
After 2016, Ding Zongjian's green willow planting area has reached 66.67 hectares, with an annual output of 18 tons of tea products, and independent research and development of bagged tea, cup tea and other products, with an annual revenue of nearly 30 million yuan, and an annual tax payment of 130,000 yuan, the products are exported to first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, directly driving more than 40 villagers to work.

It is worth mentioning that Ding Zongjian also opened an apiary in Huangtuba Village, mainly engaged in the "one spoonful of honey" business, and the production line and bee farm have been built, and production is expected to start next month. At that time, the production line alone will directly drive the employment of nearly 10 people.
Regarding the future, Ding Zongjian is full of confidence. He told reporters that confidence comes not only from enterprises and products, but also from the business environment. "The annual enterprise support reward of 80,000 yuan is always cashed in full, and under normal circumstances, the government will not disturb the enterprise, but as long as there is a need, they are on call. Ding Zongjian, for example, in the industrial inspection, just a phone call, the staff of the quality inspection department will come to the door to take samples, he said, the Jingzhou County Party Committee, the county government does not shout slogans "mother's family".
With a relaxed environment, services in place and preferential policies, Ding Zongjian has successfully applied for a British trademark and set up a cup of tea sales point in Manchester, England.
