Parody of "On the Eve" trailer solo developer shows off the progress of production

Previously, we reported that a developer and streamer named Crimson decided to make a similar teaser after seeing the trailer for the game that was recently expected to enter the list of the biggest "hoaxes" in gaming history. However, he didn't just use animation orchestration software to make it, but he actually implemented a lot of the trailer in the game engine. The game itself is about to cease operations on January 22, and the development studio has shut down, and the purchase channel on Steam has been closed in less than a week.

A few days ago, Crimson shared his 200-day development progress. During development, his graphics card "blew up", so he had to take a break. It's a pity that not only did he not be able to launch his own version of the "teaser" before the game was released, but he may not be able to finish it before the game is closed. But after only 75 hours, some of the game's features already look much better than what is actually in the game.

Some of the things that were criticized in the final Early Access version of Shoah or that were in the original trailer but were cut from the game were featured in his "fanteas", including a crafting table that can be used to modify guns, much better multiplayer motion synchronization, and more intelligent zombie enemies that react more realistically when shot. And that's just something he could do in about a hundred hours of development alone...... Later he also added a melee system, which was also absent in the game.

While developer Fntastic has previously insisted that the game is not a "scam" because they haven't received a penny (Steam's revenue won't be distributed to the developer/publisher until 1 month later) and is already offering refunds, it's hard not to question how a team of "volunteer developers" with the funds and free labor could have made such a disappointing work with multiple extended deadlines, especially when a solo developer only used 200 hours can do a lot of things they can't do.
