"Sit down for a while, and my uncle will go and wash your hair with warm water. At the convenient barber station in Tuanjie Village, Jishishan County, Gansu Province, Wang Yulong, a cadre of a brigade of the 76th Group Army and the leader of the party member commando, warmly greeted the little boy who came to get a haircut.
On the first day of arrival in Tuanjie Village, the brigade formed a party member commando team composed of 18 party members and rushed to the forefront of the mission.
Compared with other team members, Wang Yulong has rich experience in earthquake relief. In April 2010, Wang Yulong, who was still a corporal at the time, followed the troops to Yushu for earthquake relief and searched for and rescued people in the collapsed houses, which is still deeply imprinted in Wang Yulong's mind.
In this party member commando, there is a soldier who has a "special connection" with Wang Yulong. His name was Bading Jancuo, a second sergeant of the brigade.
Bading Gangcuo's hometown is in Yushu. When he was 12 years old, he experienced the Yushu earthquake. That night, it was a PLA soldier who helped him get out of danger.
Since then, Bading Jiangcuo has had the dream of serving the country in the army. "I didn't find that uncle at the time, but I saw a lot of PLA uncles fighting in my hometown, and I was determined to be like them. Badin Jancuo said.
After coming to the army, Bading Jiangcuo trained hard, worked hard, and was rated as an outstanding soldier of the "four haves" and was awarded a third-class meritorious service. In peacetime, Bading Jiangcuo often took the initiative to help his comrades.
After the brigade received the order to fight the earthquake and provide disaster relief, Bading Jiangcuo did not hesitate to take the initiative to sign up: "I am a party member, a squad leader, and I have also experienced the earthquake and post-disaster reconstruction, and I will definitely be able to help if I go!" After coming to the disaster area, he and his comrades-in-arms of the party member commando team moved the masses, set up tents, carried materials, and cleaned up the rubble.
Knowing that Wang Yulong had gone to his hometown for disaster relief, Bading Jiangcuo said with emotion: "Although Captain Wang is not the uncle who saved me back then, I am very proud to fight side by side with him now!"
