As the "final work" of this year's art community in Huanlu Xun Park in Hongkou District, the theme activity of the 2023 Plum Blossom Thatched Cottage Art Season recently opened again at Zhu Yizhan Art Museum.
With "Great Aesthetic Education" as the carrier, this event is divided into three chapters: "Remembering Plums, Exploring Plums, and Searching for Plums", and connects the venues of the art and cultural community through diversified activities such as research and Xi activities, online art museums, and citywalks. According to the relevant person in charge of the Hongkou District Culture and Tourism Bureau, the activity actively promotes traditional culture in a combination of culture and education, continuously improves the communication power of "Plum Blossom Thatched Cottage", and attracts citizens and tourists, especially young people, to experience the "beauty of art" in Hongkou.
Mr. Zhu Qizhan, an art master, has a special love for plum blossoms all his life, he not only paints and plants plums, but also names the studio "plum blossom thatched cottage". In this art season, the permanent exhibition hall on the second floor of the Zhu Qizhan Art Museum exhibited the paintings of the old plum blossoms in the museum, and on the first floor, the "Rainbow Seal on the Sea" cultural and educational combination of art study and Xi interaction was launched: "Happy Plum Blossom - Plum Blossom Grass Hall in My Mind" Hongkou District Primary School Art Teachers and Students Works Exhibition.
The teachers and students of Quyang No. 3 Primary School in Hongkou District painted "Plum Blossom Thatched Cottage" in the form of oil paintings, showing the spiritual pursuit and personality charm of the elders with delicate brushstrokes and rich colors, and expressing their love and pursuit of culture and art. The children of the Third Central Primary School of Hongkou District used plum blossoms as a medium to find the footprints of "Plum Blossom Thatched Cottage", and used the scenery to express lyricism, reflecting the vigorous spirit of Hongkou students. The Chinese New Year is approaching, and the exhibition also displays the Year of the Dragon book tickets created by a number of primary school art teachers in the district, including the works of post-00 newcomers and senior teachers.
The relevant person in charge of Hongkou District Education College said that teachers and students in the education system of Hongkou District immersed themselves in the charm and value of art through visiting Xi, and improved their aesthetic ability and cultural literacy. During the event, a series of plum blossom theme activities will be held in various venues of the art and cultural community around Lu Xun Park. Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall has launched a "plum blossom seal", which is designed with the plum blossom paper collected by Mr. Lu Xun and the appearance of the memorial hall as the basic elements. The choice to launch the seal is due to the fact that Mr. Lu Xun treasured a Zhu Wen seal with the inscription "Only the plum blossom is a confidant" when he was a teenager. D52 Art Space organized the "Fragrance and Plum Language - Incense and Plum Blossom Theme Craft Exhibition", which blended traditional incense and arts and crafts. Ouyi Station is customizing the "Plum Blossom Coffee Car", which will then flow in various venues of the art and cultural community in Lu Xun Park.
The 2023 Plum Blossom Thatched Cottage Art Season will last until March next year.
