Daqian Manor, with the theme of raising black swans, is located on the shore of Dianshan Lake, covering an area of more than 600 acres, including 400 acres of lakes, with ecological 18 islands and reed thousand bird forests. Surrounded by rivers and beautiful scenery, it is a paradise for small animals.
On the lake in early winter, a pair of elegant black swans are either nesting or courting and playing, their noble feathers and graceful posture vividly interpret the image of the aborigines of this water. The geese and the black swans politely maintain a social distance, and the slim egrets lining up by the cement trough are waiting for their delicacies...... Unpeaceful battles are rare on the surface of the water. After a full meal, the geese take off in flocks, leaving only the geese to stop in their sleep and call loudly with envy......
Since 2000, the manor began to raise black swans, from the beginning of 40 to now there are nearly 1,000 black swans living here, and more than 200 newborn baby swans join the "big army" every year. During the migration season, the wild geese passing through here are attracted by a large group of black swans to stay, and after years of symbiosis, the number of wild geese has increased year by year, and more than 500 have become "long-term residents" here.
In addition, the staff also found many other migratory birds and wading birds, such as small grebes, black water pheasants, kingfishers, egrets, pond herons, night herons and more than 100 species. How to protect and feed these small animals has become one of the most important tasks of the farm, and the staff admits that they spend nearly one million yuan a year on this aspect, attracting tourists to visit and paying special attention to protecting the environment in which the wild animals grow. The manor has set up an ecological knowledge course to explain to interested tourists, calling on visitors to follow the relevant tour instructions, know the small animals and respect the small animals.
