In the view of director Jiao Gang, the script of "Cat God in the Forbidden City" has a thick literary nature, "It is not only a beautiful fairy tale, but also a kind of admiration and memory for the people represented by the people of the Forbidden City who have paid so much effort for the protection and inheritance of Chinese culture." ”

"We hope to tell Chinese stories more originally, smartly, artistically and imaginatively, and we also hope to make children's dramas truly work for all ages, because every adult is a former child, and we hope that children's dramas can have more depth of thought, more understanding of life, the world, and oneself in traditional culture, and more understanding of traditional culture itself." Feng Li hopes that "The Cat God in the Forbidden City" can bring China's children's theater art, the legend of the Forbidden City, and the excellent traditional Chinese culture to the whole country and the world, so that the world can see China.
