From January 13th to 14th, 2024, the Peking Opera "Into Beijing" produced by the Nanjing Peking Opera Troupe will be unveiled at this year's China Peking Opera Art Festival.
This Peking Opera is adapted from the script of the famous playwright Zou Jingzhi, which took six years to polish, and the film has been hailed as an international "historical blockbuster with Chinese cultural characteristics that has been lost overseas for a long time in recent years", and has a wide influence.
Peking Opera "Into Beijing" is based on the "Huaya Dispute", focusing on the story of Yue Jiu, a famous actor in Beijing, and Wang Changsheng, a young martial arts actor, who took the Yangzhou Chuntai class as a position and took the opportunity of Qianlong's celebration of his 80th birthday to go north along the Grand Canal, absorbing the strengths of various operas, and finally debuting in the capital with a big opera, and finally giving birth to the story of Peking Opera.
"Writing the epic and journey of the descendants of Peking Opera shows the sincerity and essence of the beauty of Chinese opera art, reproduces the unique magnificence and heroism of Chinese civilization, and inspires the conversion and recognition of the reality of the national soul. Lu Ang, the director of the play and a doctoral supervisor of the directing department of the Shanghai Theater Academy, said that "Into Beijing" uses Peking Opera to write the stories and history of Peking Opera people, "so that the audience can understand how Peking Opera came about, how the predecessors created such a form of drama today, where its value and significance are, and where it will go." ”
The whole series ends with the famous Ye School Xiaosheng master Song Xiaochuan, the outstanding young martial arts actor Zhou Enxu, and the outstanding Tsing Yi actor Wang Can of the Nanjing Peking Opera Troupe, the Huadan actors Wang Ying and Li Hui, as well as the flower-faced actor Zhang Xunxiang, the national first-class actor Guo Hejun, etc., to jointly interpret the story of this Peking Opera person.
Zhu Shaoyu has rich experience in the creation of more than 200 works, and he arranged a variety of plate styles such as Xipi, Erhuang, Gao Plectrum, and blowing cavity in the creation of "Into Beijing", and also kneaded Yangzhou minor tune into some of the singing cavities, connecting the Peking Opera singing cavity between the true and the false, the virtual and the real, which is both antique and innovative.
Stage designer Tong Wei listed on the stage of "Into Beijing", conceived 11 small "stage boxes" through flexible combinations, presenting the scene of the troupe's collective practice, and can be transformed into the stage, backstage, dock, boudoir and other scenes, which are cleverly conceived.
Based on the real history of the Qing Dynasty, she reproduced the typical styles and embroidery patterns of the Qing Dynasty by collecting a large number of old photos and old embroidery pieces of the Qing Dynasty, and highlighted the simple dress and noble temperament of the opera troupe artists, the magnificence of the court and the reality of the common people, presenting a stage visual effect with a precise sense of character, a clear sense of history and a clear sense of hierarchy.
