No.12 Rock Bursting
Previously, this melee range magic was a bit unsatisfactory. This magic works well with the digger's staff, which can be obtained fairly early in the Elden Ring game. Before the balance changed at the end of April, the rock burst was just too slow and inefficient. Enemies can easily interrupt the player while casting, and because it's a melee spell, this happens quite often.

Luckily, the balance patch at the end of April strengthened the oracle bubble on both counts. With increased cast speed and better recovery times, Oracle Bubble is a suitable spell for players who want to deal damage to multiple enemies on the screen.
No.10 Magma Shooting
Fire and fire effects are often exclusive to spells in Elden Ring. Magic is usually more focused on magic damage and freezing than fire, but the magic of magma shooting is a rare exception. Some of the more powerful magma magic requires high faith, but Magma Shot is good for players who want to try it out, as it is lenient.
The player needs 19 intelligence and 10 faith to cast this magic. The spell itself deals decent fire damage and explodes on impact, causing a small burst of damage. This magic is a good choice to start a fight, as its slow cast time makes it a bit difficult to use in ongoing combat.
This spell costs 30 mana, so it can be a bit difficult for some casters to cast it repeatedly. However, it does decent damage, and is effective for interrupting large enemies or enemies with high armor. This magic can be found in the Eternal Hell of the Royal Necropolis, where the Snow White King must be defeated first.

No.6 Carian Piercing
Like the Carian Greatsword, the Impaler turns the caster's staff into a magic weapon for quick attacks, which can be cast continuously. The Carian greatsword attacks with a wide horizontal sweep, while the Impaler stabs straight forward. It has a good range, making it an excellent choice for boss battles and heavily armored enemies.
The Carian Impiercer can be charged upon cast for greater range and damage value, and can even be used while riding, as long as the player places their staff in the right hand position. This magic can be found in Caria Manor, after defeating a beetle behind the garden area.

The Night Maiden's Mist is a bit unobtrusive to most Elden Ring mages. This spell can be purchased from Celia, Gorui in the Magic Town, after completing his quest. The Night Maiden's mist emits a gray cloud that inflicts continuous damage on anyone standing inside. That's right: this magic is dangerous because it can harm enemies, friends, and even the player himself.
However, with proper placement and timing, the Night Maiden's Mist can melt the boss in a matter of minutes. If the player traps the boss in the fog, they will take damage over time, plus other damage that the player is able to inflict. This magic works well against groups of enemies that move slowly.
No.4 Cryolite Peak
Of the many status effects in Elden Ring, Freeze is probably the best effect a player can inflict on an enemy. The Amphibole Arc is the initial magic of the astrologer class, and can be learned from Seren for 1500 runes shortly after Xi the game starts. This magic doesn't require tedious rune collection, and its availability is one of the reasons why it's one of the best spells in the game.
Amphibole Arcs are a great choice for dealing with hordes of enemies or taking down pesky flying enemies. The arc of this spell widens as it flies forward until it eventually dissipates. Learning to Xi this arc to maximize damage can bring out the true potential of this low-power-consuming magic. Players no longer have to worry about flying enemies, as this magic is able to hit them, even if they dodge in the air.
No.2 Rock Throwing
Rock Throwing is a great item that can be obtained early in the game. It can deal a lot of damage and easily interrupt enemies, resulting in even more devastating critical hits. It can be found fairly early in places where players are willing to venture into the ruins of Called's Philosopher's Street. The player can make their way through the many poison mages there to grab this magic. It is not protected by any leader.
Rock Throw summons three large stones from the ground and throws them at the target. They move quite slowly and have a poor turning radius, so particularly nimble enemies can easily dodge them. However, large enemies or small groups of enemies can be easily knocked down by rock throws, and the recast interruption effect makes this spell easily one of the best spells in the game.
No.1 Amphibole shard
One of the best all-around spells in Elden Ring also happens to be one of its most basic spells. Glitter Pebble Magic is the base equipment of the Astrologer class, and can be easily purchased from Seren or Thorpe for 1000 runes. When it comes to basic attacks, there's perhaps no better magic than an amphibole shard. It has a low cost of spiritual power and gets stronger as it increases its intelligence.
This spell can be cast quickly, resulting in higher DPS than a slow, large-cell damage spell. It can also interrupt low-profile enemies and trap them in a barrage of magic pebbles. Somehow, the best magic in the game isn't a gorgeous high-level spell cast with a high cost, but the basic magic missile that is found in the magic system of almost every RPG.
