On December 19, 2023, the "Belt and Road" Regional Symposium on Cell Science and Engineering Technology Standards was successfully held in Shenzhen BGI Space Center. More than 500 government leaders, experts and scholars, and business representatives from countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" attended the conference online and offline. The "Belt and Road" Regional Cell Science and Engineering Technology Standardization Committee reviewed and approved the 2023 annual work report, the committee management system, the supplementary proposals of committee members, and the feasibility discussion of five "Belt and Road" regional standards.
