On July 15, The Tongren Power Supply Bureau of Guizhou Power Grid for the first time launched a 10 kV medium-voltage power generation vehicle with a 10 kV high-power gas turbine in Cinnabar Ancient Town, Wanshan District. This marks the further improvement of the level of non-blackout operation and power supply assurance of Tongren Power Supply Bureau, and is also a typical practice of Tongren Power Supply Bureau practicing the new development concept and rapidly transforming new technologies into production benefits.

It is reported that due to the high continuity and stability of the power supply, the Tongren Power Supply Bureau decided to temporarily call a new 10 kV medium-voltage power generation vehicle to ensure power supply, and quickly carried out operational technology training. According to Chen Wan, general manager of the production technology department of Tongren Power Supply Bureau, according to the original technology, the power supply area on the same day originally required 6 emergency power generation vehicles and 12 power supply technicians to be competent, and now only 2 10 kV medium voltage power generation vehicles are needed to be easily completed, effectively simplifying the resource allocation during the power supply guarantee period.

Strong power supply continuity and large range are the major characteristics of this emergency power generation vehicle that distinguish it from traditional emergency power generation vehicles. Because the traditional emergency power generation vehicle is only 500 kilowatts and the voltage level is only 380 volts, it can only supply power to a specific Taiwan area, and the power supply range has been greatly limited; and the 10 kV medium-voltage tram can be "connected to the grid" with the 10 kV line, directly ensuring the power supply of a 10 kV line and multiple stations at the same time, and can ensure that more than 3,000 ordinary household users use electricity at the same time to achieve coverage power supply in the area.

The user's "zero power outage perception" is a major advantage of the power generation vehicle. In the past, due to technical limitations, traditional emergency power generation vehicles needed to "first blackout, then access", while 10 kV medium voltage guaranteed trams could achieve live access without affecting the power consumption of users within the scope of power supply.

In addition, the bureau also realized the parallel operation of two 10 kV medium voltage emergency power generation vehicles for the first time, on the one hand, to ensure that a power generation vehicle can quickly switch the power supply when it fails, to ensure the continuity of power supply; on the other hand, it can reasonably distribute the load, so that the power generation vehicle can operate economically under load, thereby reducing operating costs and use losses.
