At 23:59 on December 18, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, with an epicenter depth of 10 kilometers and an epicenter 8 kilometers away from Jishishan County.
On the afternoon of the 19th, in a large resettlement site in Dahejia Town, Jishishan County, loving materials were delivered one after another, and the affected people lined up early to receive meals, and the affected people lived in emergency relief tents that night.
In the center of the resettlement site, a caring enterprise from Linxia, Gansu Province, set up an emergency tent and set up a stove, and more than 20 volunteers were making beef noodles in the tent. Outside the tents, hundreds of victims, rescue workers and staff lined up to receive beef noodles.
Beef noodles of love at the resettlement site
According to volunteers, in the early morning of the 19th, the person in charge of the enterprise and the team urgently prepared ingredients, and more than 20 people arrived in Dahejia Town at 7 o'clock on the 19th to distribute free beef noodles at the resettlement site, "just so that the affected people can eat early."
One member of the public said that after the earthquake, they didn't have time to eat a hot meal, and when they saw people queuing up one after another, they came to get a bowl of free beef noodles. ”
At the scene, a member of a public welfare rescue team said that they were one of the first rescue teams to enter the earthquake area, and they started search and rescue from the early morning of the 19th and were busy until the afternoon of the 19th.
A volunteer told reporters that 10 bags of flour have been used today, and about 3,000 beef noodles have been made.
The crowd rested in tents
Night is approaching, and the lights and other lights at the settlement have not yet been lit. Around this noodle stall, two cars turned on their headlights to illuminate the scene.
In addition to the beef noodles, in the evening, caring enterprises successively sent drinks, mineral water and other materials to the resettlement sites and distributed them to the affected people.
"This is the quilt I just received. At the scene, there were also people who took the quilts they had just received back to their tents.
Set up a tent
At the scene, hundreds of relief tents have been set up, and the stoves in the tents have been lit.
At about 19 o'clock on the 19th, the tent was energized and the temperature rose.
Subsequently, a staff member greeted from tent to tent: "If you don't have a meal, you can go to the side to get dinner." ”
Mr. Zhu said that today's dinner was stewed vegetables and steamed buns, which "tasted very good."
In addition to Mr. Zhu's family, there is also a family from another village living in this tent. One of Mr. Zhu's family members said, "Because of the earthquake, I lived in a tent and made friends. ”
Mr. Zhu said that after the earthquake, they had been warming themselves by cooking a fire outside in the early morning of the 19th until around 9 o'clock that day, "and I can sleep well tonight."
At night, the temperature here is already more than minus 10 degrees Celsius, and vehicles such as electricity, medical and health, communications, and public security are still busy entering and leaving the resettlement site.
Mr. Zhu said that he hopes to return home as soon as possible and return to a normal life.
