author:Shangguan News

Time is like sand,

Years are like water,

There's always something that's going to settle down.

Xinzhuang is no longer a "village" with dense fields,

It is a "city" full of flowers.

In the eighth season of the "Discover the Beauty of Minhang" book series, we invited young talents from the Star School in Minhang District, Shanghai to recite "Old Things in Xincheng". Today, what you will hear is an excerpt from ""Bookworm" Zhu Dashao". Let's follow the voice together and take a look at what Zhu Dashao, a native of Xinzhuang, did as a "bookworm......

Since ancient times, reading and collecting books have been one of the indispensable life tastes of literati and doctors, and among the readers of the past generations, people who have been called "book lovers", "book addicts", "book demons" and "book prostitutes" have emerged in an endless stream. Wang Shizhen, a famous writer, exchanged one of his manors for a Song edition of a book, while Zhu Dashao was rumored to have exchanged a beautiful woman in his own family for a Song edition of a precious book. Because of this obsession with collecting books, their behavior beyond ordinary people not only attracted people's attention, amazement, surprise, incomprehension, and condemnation at the time, but also in later generations and even today, it is a typical story that the world either sings, despises, praises, or despises, and despises, leaving a far-reaching impact on the book collecting world.

Wu Chengen's "Journey to the West", Xinzhuang, the "bookworm", once had a sneak peek of the Min market

Zhu Dashao, the word Xiangyuan, a Xiangxuan, the number Wenshi, a native of Xinzhuang in the Ming Dynasty, is the nephew of Zhu En, the secretary of the Ministry of Rites. In the twenty-sixth year of Jiajing (1547), Zhongding Weike Jinshi began to enter the official career, and many important ministers, famous generals, and writers, such as Li Chunfang, Zhang Juzheng, Xu Guangqi, Hu Mengzheng, Yin Zhengmao, Wang Shizhen, Li Sanwei, etc., in the same year, it can be seen that this Jinshi has super ability and outstanding talent. Later, Zhu Dashao was awarded the review of the Hanlin Academy, and after that, his career was blocked, so he devoted his main attention to collecting books and doing learning. After returning to his hometown, he built the "Wenyuan", which collected and preserved many precious texts such as the Song version of "Jinshi Lu", the Yuan carving "Erya", the Song carving "Book of the Later Han Dynasty", Su Shi's "Sacrifice to Huang Jidao Scroll", the Song periodical "Jiannan Poetry Manuscript", and the Song periodical fragment "Zizhi Tongjian".

Zhu Dashao originally lived in Xinzhuang, and later moved to Songjiang Fucheng, since he was a child, he loved to read and collect books, and when he was studying in Nanjing Guozijian, he had a very good relationship with Wu Chengen, who was more than 20 years older. Zhu Dashao admired Wu Chengen's brilliant writing, and regretted that he had repeatedly failed and failed to get a career in office, so he often traveled with him to discuss articles. The two often have parties together, sing poems and wines, and are uninhibited. At that time, Wu Chengen's "Journey to the West" had been completed and had not yet been printed for the first time.

Soon, Zhu Dashao was a high school jinshi, and was appointed as a review of the Hanlin Academy, and since then he has stepped into the official career, but who knows that he has never had the opportunity to be promoted, and Zhang Juzheng, Yin Zhengmao and others in the same year have quickly become ministers of Jingshi Anguo, and even his friend Wang Shizhen has also done the book of the Criminal Department, and he has been doing it for seven or eight years and still has not left the Hanlin Academy. So, Zhu Dashao wrote a letter to resign, wanting to go home to support the elderly, at this time in the deep palace Emperor Jiajing, perhaps realized that it was indeed time to move Zhu Dashao, so he gave him a position as the director of the Nanjing Guozijian.

Nanjing Guozijian Siye is mainly responsible for the administration of Confucian discipline, and it is only an official position from the fourth grade, but it is already the highest position obtained by Zhu Dashao. In the third year of Longqing (1569), Zhu Dashao's fellow villager and friend He Liangjun engraved the thirty volumes of "Four Friends Zhai Cong Shuo" and asked Zhu Dashao to write a preface. In this year, Zhu Dashao resigned from his position as the secretary of Guozijian and returned to his hometown in Huating County, Songjiang, at the age of 53. Zhu Dashao built a private garden called "Wenyuan" in the west of Songjiang Dongmaqiao, and built a library such as Kuaige, Xiongxiang Pavilion and Hengjing Pavilion in the garden.

There are Yi Ding and other things in the pavilion, a large number of famous paintings and law books are collected, as well as a large number of precious Song books, Zhu Dashao's commonly used seals are "Jingshutang", "Zhu Wenshi", "Zhu's map", "book", "Zhu Xiangxuan", "Huating Zhu", "Wenshi Zhu Xiangxuan", "Tang Feng Zhao surnamed Huang", "Mingke Jiajia", "Hengjing Pavilion Collection Books", "Huating Zhu's Wenshi Mountain House Collection Book Seal", "Huating Zhu Wenshi's Hengjing Pavilion Collection Book Seal" and other collection seals. As a result, Zhu Dashao often recruited friends in the Wenyuan, talked about poetry and literature, and appreciated calligraphy and painting.

At that time, the famous bibliophiles Yu Wenbo, Lu Shen and Lu Ji father and son, Zhu Chaqing, He Liangjun, as well as Wang Qi, Shi Dajing, Song Maocheng, Yu Ruji, etc., who were known as the four great families of Songjiang, often went to the attic with Zhu Dashao to proofread the collection and edit the inscriptions. In addition to collecting books, Zhu Dashao is also proficient in astronomy, studying history, and creating literature, and has written astronomical works such as "Yaodian Zhongxing Examination" and "Yueling Zhongxing Examination", etc., literary works such as "Jingshutang Collection", historical works such as "Epitaphs of Emperors and Famous Ministers", and also edited and published the monograph "Yanxi Caotang Manuscript" with his friends Yang Yusun and Dong Yiyang as his mentor Sun Chengen, which is praised by the world.

Sun Chengen is a native of Shanghai County, Songjiang Prefecture, and has been an official to the Ministry of Rites, and his son Kehong is also a bibliophile and has a close relationship with Zhu Dashao. Zhu Dashao is fond of Song Dynasty engravings, and his collection of books is mostly known for the Song editions, and his collection of Song editions of the anthologies was later handed over by famous artists, which can be described as rare books that have been inherited in an orderly manner. Sun Kehong, who was a little later than Zhu Dashao, built a garden called "Sun Jiayuan" at the bottom of the fruit lane outside the east gate of Songjiang City, north of Yutang. After Zhu Dashao's death, most of his collection of books was purchased by Sun Kehong, which has become an important part of the circulation to this day.

A few days ago, the District CPPCC Office, the District Education Bureau, the Youth League District Committee and the Minhang District Financial Media Center jointly launched a series of book reading activities of "Discovering the Beauty of Minhang", which will successively invite young people from many schools in Minhang District to read good books, be good at reading, understand history, love their hometown, and work together to promote the implementation of the "Min Market" reading activities.

In the eighth season, we invited young talents from the Star School in Minhang District, Shanghai to recite "Old Things in Xincheng".

Like many towns with a little history, Xinzhuang, which grew up in the water towns of the south of the Yangtze River, certainly has a side that makes the locals confident and proud, and does not say clichés such as "outstanding people", but also allows us to read the thickness of this place and feel its temperature on the stories left by the years.

Speaking of Minhang, it is natural that Xinzhuang cannot be avoided. On the one hand, in the eleventh year after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Xinzhuang was the former county seat of Shanghai County for 32 years, and the status of the county seat was very important. In 1992, after the "removal of two and the construction of one", Xinzhuang is still the seat of the new Minhang District office, which has been 28 years. In 60 years, a Jiazi, Xinzhuang's status as the central urban area of Minhang is unbreakable. In fact, its development is indeed remarkable, especially in recent years, it has never stopped moving forward, firmly grasping the two major footholds of high-quality development and high-quality life, looking for the characteristics of Xinzhuang in terms of commercial business, cultural services, headquarters economy, and ecological livability, creating a model of Xinzhuang, and changing the old appearance of the former county.

But this is only 60 years in Xinzhuang. If you want to trace the history of Xinzhuang, or rather, the past of its formation of market towns, from the original Jiangnan water town, to the railway transportation a hundred years ago, and then to the hub of the southwest gateway of Shanghai, it is also 500 years of wind and rain.

We often joke that in Minhang, there are always two words that are often misunderstood, one is the "line" (háng) of Minhang, which is not a local, and often reads it as xíng, the "line" for walking, and the same is true for the "Xin" of Xinzhuang, Xi inertia will pronounce it as the "莘" (shēn) of Xinxin students, in fact, as a place name, its correct pronunciation should be xīn.

And the "Zhuang" of Xinzhuang always makes people feel a kind of local atmosphere. In fact, there are many interpretations of Zhuang, one is the surname, the most famous is Zhuangzi, the second is the shop and the like, such as the money village and the tea house, the third is the land occupied by the monarchs and nobles in the feudal society, such as the manor, and the representative of the atmosphere of the scene, such as solemnity. But probably the most familiar ones are villages. But frankly speaking, Xinzhuang was really just a village before it was first formed as a market town. Even in the 60s of the 20th century, when it became the seat of Shanghai County and was called the county seat, it was surrounded by a vast farmland. At that time, the area of the town was not large enough, and it always seemed cramped and cramped, which can be seen from the narrow roads in the county seat. But aren't many ancient towns in Jiangnan like this?

Xinzhuang grows and develops in the midst of challenges. According to Shanghai's new urban master plan, Xinzhuang will be upgraded to a sub-center in the future, a goal to be achieved by 2035. The future is promising, and naturally it is exciting. People have reason to believe that this will become an emerging business prosperity area in the Yangtze River Delta, and it is also the best place to live and live a home.

From December, the eighth season officially starts, and at 21:30 every weekday, we don't listen or sleep!
