In order to further implement the deployment requirements of the Shanghai Municipal People's Procuratorate and the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, strengthen coordination and co-governance, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Recently, the Hongkou District Procuratorate and the District Federation of Trade Unions jointly held a signing meeting for the protection of labor rights and interests of employees of the "Trade Union + Procuratorate". At the meeting, Deputy Procurator General Yang Jianfeng and Vice Chairman Yang Haitao, on behalf of the District Procuratorate and the District Federation of Trade Unions, exchanged the "Framework Agreement on the Collaborative Working Mechanism for the District Procuratorate and the District Federation of Trade Unions to Jointly Promote the Protection of Employees' Labor Rights and Interests" (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement"). The Agreement clarifies that the two sides shall establish coordination and cooperation mechanisms such as communication and liaison, information sharing, clue transfer, case-handling cooperation, and legal publicity linkage.
Subsequently, Zhang Liuqing of the Fifth Procuratorate and Xie Xuan of the Public Interest Procuratorate successively introduced the content of the Agreement and the Administrative Public Interest Litigation Case of Urging and Protecting the Rights and Interests of Migrant Workers' Labor Remuneration.
