Mention the name Enya, and probably many people will think of the theme song of the first part of "The Lord of the Rings", May It Be ( Prayer).

The MV of this song is highly consistent with its imagery: starry night, long journey, countless inexplicable fears and challenges lurking in the darkness, solo travelers, senders, prayers, angels, god's protection. In a similar situation, every thought of the man who went on the road with a full blessing always felt a lot of comfort in his heart.
Meet Enya around the summer of 2002. The rental house outside the school is perched on the mountainside, the view is very good, the mosquitoes are many and poisonous, and the mosquitoes the size of the ballpoint pen tip can bite dozens of times large bags, and the itch will not dissipate for a long time. The shared roommate went home for a vacation, leaving behind a view of a large house and a balcony, as well as all the mosquitoes and the boredom of the long night. In the era without the Internet, summer jobs were completed during the day, and only music was accompanied by music at long nights. For me at that time, Enya's voice was too beautiful, ethereal and unworldly, in contrast, "goddess" was an overly vulgar adjective.
Fourteen years have passed since I listened to it. I met more singers and wonderful renditions, and rarely listened to Enya. Until the other day, I heard about the release of her new album, clicked on it, and was still moved. Remembering that I had heard her voice for many years and did not know her people, I made my next decision to sort out the singer's experience, attach my favorite songs, and look at those years from this end of the Internet.
Born in 1961 in Guidore, Donegarshire, northwestern Ireland, Enya was originally named Einthne Ní Bhraonáin, and according to its pronunciation in English, enya Brennan is written in English. She was the sixth of nine children in the family. It was a Catholic music house, with his father leading a local dance troupe and his mother being an accompanist and teaching music.
Enya describes her upbringing as "calm and joyful.". She appeared at the local theatre at an early age and joined her mother's choir with her siblings, singing at St. Mary's Church in Driberg. At the age of twelve, Enya attended a boarding school run by the nuns, where she developed a taste in music, both Latin and art.
"I had to finish my school homework and then rush to the neighboring town for piano lessons, and when I was done, there was more homework... I remember when my brothers and sisters were playing outside the house... I was practicing the piano indoors. Such a big sheet music, practiced over and over again. Her goal was to become a "piano teacher" and she never wanted to create or take to the stage. But as she sings in Wild Child, God has something beautiful to give to this child who is a little lonely but clings to good things.
Enya's musical journey begins here.
