"All the profits, Wanda can't take away. In 2014, Wanda Group was preparing to invest in Danzhai County, Guizhou Province, and Xu Liuwei, then the county magistrate, was in charge of the matter.
At that time, the investment was being negotiated to a critical stage, and Wang Jianlin had already made the next step, but Xu Liuwei bluntly said that Wang Jianlin could not take away a penny of the income of Danzhai County in the first year.
After hearing this, the faces of everyone present changed greatly, and Wang Jianlin looked at Xu Liuwei in surprise. So, why did Xu Liuwei say this, and what happened to his career?
Xu Liuwei, who was born in a red family
In 1982, Xu Liuwei was born in Hong'an County, Huanggang City, Hunan, his ancestors had contributed to the Chinese revolution, and grew up in such a red family, Xu Liuwei also established the determination to "dedicate his life to the motherland".
And Xu Liuwei is also very smart, in the college entrance examination, Xu Liuwei was admitted to Chinese min University with excellent results, here, Xu Liuwei Xi learned a lot of knowledge, and it is these knowledge that laid the foundation for Xu Liuwei's political career.
After graduating with a master's degree, Xu Liuwei was assigned to the General Office of the Guizhou Provincial Government and became a probationary worker because of her excellent grades. It is with this serious attitude that in just six years, Xu Liuwei has grown from a probationary worker to a deputy director.
Xu Liuwei almost goes wherever he is poor, because he always has a belief in his heart, that is, to become a cadre like his father and contribute to the country.
In 2012, the opportunity finally came. At that time, in order to help poor areas get rid of poverty as soon as possible, the state put forward the initiative of "cadres going to the countryside".
Soon some people told him that it would not be easy to help the poor county get rid of poverty, but Xu Liuwei resolutely applied for a transfer to Danzhai County.
Danzhai County is a well-known poverty-stricken county in the local area, and Xu Liuwei, who has worked in Guizhou for many years, naturally knows about this situation. So on the first day of taking office, Xu Liuwei went to the grassroots level to investigate.
Although he had done his homework for a long time, when Xu Liuwei set foot on the land of Danzhai County, he was still stunned by the local situation. Danzhai County is located in the southeast of Guizhou, east of Leishan County, with a total area of 940 square kilometers and a permanent population of 140,000.
For many years, because of the underdeveloped transportation, Danzhai County has been isolated from the world for a long time, and people from outside can't get in, and young people inside want to go out.
As a result, most of the young and strong laborers in Danzhai County have flowed to more prosperous cities. Only some elderly people and left-behind children are still here, and as a result, the transportation is not convenient, and Danzhai County, which does not have many young laborers, has entered a dead loop.
People outside the mountains are reluctant to invest in this poor ravine, and the young people in the mountains study hard and finally go out but are unwilling to come back.
Therefore, the left-behind elderly in the county can only farm the land or do some odd jobs to make ends meet. Xu Liuwei was well aware of this situation, so his "first fire" burned on the local timber and ore resources.
Because timber and ore are urgently needed resources of the country, as long as you find a way to transport the ore resources, then the first pot of gold in Danzhai County will be earned in your hands, but it is not generally difficult to say and do.
In particular, Danzhai County has rugged terrain and poor infrastructure, so the first thing to do to transport resources out is to build roads and vigorously repair infrastructure.
After having the direction, Danzhai County has launched a vigorous infrastructure project, and after decades of efforts, Danzhai County also has its own super bridge.
And just as the economy of Danzhai County was recovering, a rather rare development opportunity was also placed in front of Xu Liuwei.
There is a Wang Jianlin from Danzhai County
In January 2013, the central government put forward the slogan of "targeted poverty alleviation", you know, although since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the mainland's economy has developed rapidly.
However, until 2013, there are still more than 600 poverty-stricken areas that have not been lifted out of poverty, and as a result, the state has also issued a series of poverty alleviation policies.
In 2015, the state launched the policy of "10,000 enterprises helping 10,000 villages". As the CEO of Wanda Group, Wang Jianli also actively participated.
The so-called "10,000 enterprises to help 10,000 villages" is to provide policy support to private enterprises, so that private enterprises can invest in poor areas, so as to achieve the purpose of one-to-one assistance.
At that time, Danzhai County was also one of Wang Jianlin's chosen targets, and he had a very long-term vision, believing that simply providing financial support could not really help the local people get rid of poverty.
Only when local enterprises develop can they drive the development of the entire Danzhai County. Therefore, Wang Jianlin was ready to support the local pig and tea industry at the beginning, but after the inspection, Wang Jianlin found that these two industries did not meet the current situation of Danzhai County.
In particular, the infrastructure of Danzhai County is not perfect, and the input cost of pig breeding and tea planting industry is too high, so after many investigations, Wang Jianlin set his sights on tourism.
In the initial investment, Wang Jianlin's goal is to invest 1.5 billion, of which 300 million yuan will be used to build Wanda Vocational and Technical College.
With 700 million yuan to build Danzhai County into a tourist town with local characteristics, with the addition of Wang Jianlin, Xu Liuwei's burden is much lighter.
After all, this is a good thing for both Wanda Group and Danzhai County. But at a meeting, Xu Liuwei's words made Wang Jianlin's face change.
A requirement
In February 2016, Wanda Group, represented by Wang Jianlin, and Danzhai County, represented by Xu Liuwei, held a meeting.
At the meeting, Xu Liuwei said that Wanda Group could not take away all the benefits of investment in Danzhai County, and as soon as these words came out, Wang Jianlin's face changed instantly.
You must know that as an entrepreneur, no matter what you do, the ultimate goal is to make a profit, and Wanda Group has given up a lot of interests in Danzhai County. Isn't Xu Liuwei's suggestion to make Wanda Group give up all its interests?
At the same time, Xu Liuwei also proposed that a Wanda fund could be set up in Danzhai County, which would be jointly managed by the government and Wanda Group, and that the use of it would be subject to the approval of both parties.
But Xu Liuwei's words made Wang Jianlin frown, and he said bluntly: "If you do this, it's better not to do anything, I'll give you an investment of 500 million yuan a year, and you can do it yourself." ”
In fact, Wang Jianlin's meaning is very clear, that is, to help Danzhai County develop its economy by investing in factories. In the end, Xu Liuwei also agreed to Wang Jianlin's suggestion. With the joint efforts of both sides, the local economy has also developed rapidly.
