The mobile version of GTA Trilogy: Ultimate Edition hit iOS and Android yesterday, and a day after its launch, players who have experienced it have said yes.
Overall, players found the mobile version to have good lighting, shadows, reflections, and drawing distances, in stark contrast to the quality of the console and PC versions two years ago.
Lighting fixes are one of the latest optimizations in this release. According to a blog post, R Star mentions that this port includes a new classic lighting mode that "restores the look and feel of the sky in the original game".
Some players also pointed out that there are some other changes in the port, including improved destruction effects and the restoration of the visual effects of items such as billboards, and even one player said that "it doesn't look like a mobile game".
