GAC Trumpchi's new generation of M8 Master will form a mid-to-high-end MPV product matrix in the range of 200,000 to 390,000 with M8 Grandmaster and E9. One of the themes of this new car is value upgrading. The most intuitive change in appearance is the front grille, which uses a large-mouth grille called "jump grating", which is quite visually outstanding.
The dimensions of the new M8 Master have also been adjusted, with a length, width and height of 5212/1893/1823mm and a wheelbase of 3070mm. Compared to the previous model, it has an increase of 63mm in length and 70mm in wheelbase. Equipped with Michelin Primacy 4 tyres with 225/55 R18, it focuses on quiet and comfortable.
Coming to the rear, the new car adopts the E9 with the same "door of time and space" taillights, which is composed of transverse through light strips and longitudinal separation light strips, containing a total of 240 LED lamp beads, both aesthetic and practical, and further enhance night driving safety.
Inside, you can see that the new generation of M8 Master adopts the latest interior style of the family, which is more stylish and elegant overall. It will be available in two interior styles, Forbidden Under the Moon and Roman Holiday. Its passenger instrument panel design is inspired by the wings of a swan, and the central control position is the visual center of the vehicle, with a 14.6-inch central control screen, which is connected to the gear shift panel and the center armrest to form a simple whole. The multimedia system is equipped with an 8155 chip, on which conventional entertainment functions and vehicle information settings can be realized. In addition, the new generation of M8 Master is equipped with L2 driver assistance functions, AR navigation, 540° high-definition panoramic image and other functions.
In terms of space, the second row of the new M8 Master is equipped with new seats, with a special texture on the seat surface, with ventilation, heating, 10-point air pump massage (3 modes) functions, and each seat is equipped with an armrest control screen. At the same time, the second row is also equipped with angle-adjustable reading lights and two new power ports for easy office. Thanks to the longer wheelbase, the new M8 Master will have more room for flexibility. Its second-row slide rails reach a maximum of 465mm, and with the third-row slide rails and the backrest can be adjusted, you can usually travel with a family. The boot space of the new M8 Master has not changed much, and its third-row seats can be flexibly folded according to demand.
In terms of power, the new generation M8 Master is the same as the current model, equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 185kW (252 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm.
