In 2013, Dieng was selected by the Jazz with the 21st pick in the first round, and then sent to the Timberwolves, where he played for the Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Spurs and Hawks for 10 years. Dieng has a certain mid-range shooting ability, as well as tough rebounding ability, and once hit the Timberwolves with 22 points and 21 rebounds. Named to the All-Rookie Second Team in his rookie season.
