It is worth mentioning that the "winning battle" is basically independent brands, and the five traditional enterprises of Great Wall, Changan, Geely, Chery and BYD are getting faster and faster in the speed of electrification transformation.
BYD announced its sales in November, including Denza, reaching 302,000 units, which is basically unchanged from October, and with a wealth of models and technical routes, BYD is the first to gain a foothold in the Chinese passenger car market, and BYD's sales of 3 million this year only need to "press inventory" a little to achieve at the end of the year.

However, it is worth mentioning that BYD's sales growth in the past two months is basically no more, and the terminal sales in October and November were flat, which is still based on the continuous price reduction in November.
Chery's sales in November reached 212,000 units, and unlike BYD's electrification strategy, Chery's more sales are rooted in the fuel vehicle market, indicating that the market has a high degree of affirmation of its technology, has a more stable user base increment, and the stable development of the fuel vehicle market is conducive to the comprehensive transformation of electrification in the later stage.
This year, Chery has sold more than 1.66 million units, a year-on-year increase of more than 47%, which is also very fast.
In addition, Geely is also chasing after it, with passenger car sales exceeding 200,000 units in November, a year-on-year and month-on-month increase of more than double digits, and sales hit a record high for three consecutive months.
On the one hand, Geely's new energy sales reached 65,000 units, and the Galaxy series released this year increased rapidly, on the other hand, Geely's high-end models have a high sales acceptance, and the Lynk & Co series and Zeekr series are relatively successful.
Geely's overtake and electrification efforts are only a matter of time.
In Changan, from January to November, the sales volume of new energy exceeded 410,000 units, a year-on-year increase of more than 83%, compared with last year, there is a significant increase.
Great Wall has not released the overall data, but announced the data of electrification, passenger car new energy sales exceeded 30,000 units, it is worth mentioning that the price of Great Wall's electrified products is relatively high, the pricing of the tank series and the Wei brand series has reached the standard of high-end cars.
Among them, the tank series has become a frequent visitor to the high-end car market of the Great Wall, with an average monthly sales of 300,000 products reaching tens of billions, and has become the core player to promote the Great Wall off-road, electric, hard-core and high-end.
From the perspective of sales, major companies will complete the transformation with the help of electrification in 2023, squeezing the market of foreign brands, and those who pay attention will find that the sales of DPCA, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Nissan and BBA brands are no longer as strong as they were two years ago.
With the help of electrification, domestic brands have been able to beat foreign brands in all fields, and have achieved initial success.
It is worth mentioning that the real test of BYD, which is on fire this year, is after 2024, because with the advantage of the time window, BYD has successfully squeezed into the 3 million level, but the Chinese market is fully capable of cultivating a second 3 million level of enterprises.
In that year, Volkswagen Group and GM Group completed sales of 3 million and 3.8 million respectively in China, indicating that the ability of the passenger car market to cultivate a second BYD is completely there.
Taking a step back, looking at Geely's 200,000 and Chery's 220,000 sales, next year will be the test period for BYD to really confront these giants head-on.
Among them, Geely, which has a high acceptance of high-end cars, and Geely's electrification technology reserves, production capacity and reputation have strong potential to pursue BYD.
