Humanoid robots have extremely high requirements for the real-time performance of the control system, and need to use a large number of controllers.

The Tesla robot consists of 28 integrated servo drive units (body joints) and 12 hand joints with high sensitivity requirements, as well as a large number of sensors.

For such a complex system, all algorithms need to meet the requirements of real-time, all servo joints must move synchronously, and sensor data must also be collected synchronously to ensure that the input and output of the algorithm are always in a beat, so as to ensure the motion performance of the robot. Low-voltage servo drives are the first choice for servo drives for humanoid robots.

Second, in principle, low-voltage servos can achieve higher performance than high-voltage servos.
