Princess Yoshiko is the second daughter of Prince Fumihito Akishinomiya and Princess Noriko Akishinomiya of the Japanese royal family, and was born on December 29, 1994 (the sixth year of Heisei). On March 22, 2019, he graduated from International Christian University.

In February 2022, Mako (Yoshiko's sister), a post-90s princess of the Japanese imperial family, visited Peru in South America, which also attracted attention.
