According to reports, Rockstar will officially announce GTA6 in the coming days.
Bloomberg sources have laid out Rockstar's plans to potentially unveil the game, with a brief announcement "as early as this week" and then a trailer for the game next month, in December.
The December trailer will be released 25 years after Rockstar was founded in December 1998, just over 10 years after the original Give Her Love 5 was released.
While GTA 6 hasn't been officially announced, Rockstar has confirmed that they've been busy working on the next GTA game, telling investors that the long-awaited project is expected to arrive in 2024, when they will get a windfall.
GTA6 is expected to be set in a modern-day vice city — a fictional Miami of the series — and feature a pair of male and female protagonists.
These details come from an earlier Bloomberg report on the game, which also said that the map will slowly expand after the game's release.
However, after Rockstar was hacked last year, more details of GTA 6 were exposed on the internet, and a large number of assets in production were exposed online. Rockstar responded that while these leaks are disappointing, they won't hinder the game's release process.
In recent weeks, fans have been getting more and more impatient, closely following the clues of the GTA6 announcement. And Rockstar itself, it seems, doesn't have much time to wait.
