On November 4, Qingdao Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Enterprises, MBA Education Center of Ocean University of China, Qingdao Dehui Management Consulting Co., Ltd., and Shandong Huaai Charity Foundation, together with 30 enterprises in Qingdao, joined hands with Qingdao Volunteer Association and Qingdao alumni enterprises of Shandong University of Finance and Economics to jointly launch the "Flip Books and Cross the Mountains, Build a Dream for the Future" public welfare book donation activity at Ocean University of China. A team of 25 volunteers from Kutai Refrigeration Technology, Muyifang, Zhongrui Group, Seemagic and other companies, as well as 30 corporate representatives, employee representatives and 9 groups of parent-child families participated in the event.
At the launching ceremony, 4,600 books were donated, including corporate donations and individual donations, covering various categories such as popular science knowledge, children's literature, and classics of Chinese culture. These books will be distributed to five primary schools: Guanxi Primary School in Dongsong Town, Luoning County, Luoyang, Qianyang Primary School in Shaodian Town, Shangcai County, Qianhe Primary School in Machang Town, Taikang County, No. 3 Primary School in Chengguan, Kangxian County, and Central Primary School in Duozhuang School District, opening the door to knowledge for children and taking them into a wider world.
Hao Ziquan, vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, said that corporate social responsibility is not only reflected in economic construction, but also in making a contribution to the sustainable development of society, especially in the fundamental plan of education. Yan Wenxia, the founder of Dehui Management Consulting, the organizer of the event, also expressed her sincere gratitude to all caring enterprises, and she hoped that reading would light up the lamp in the hearts of children and illuminate their path to knowledge.
