Separate send button

First of all, a big update, it adds a separate send button. This feature was even on the top of last night's hot search.

When this option is turned on, "Send" on the keyboard will change to "Line Break".

Don't underestimate it, this setup saves at least two kinds of people.

One is the user who accidentally touches "send" by mistake, which is easy to understand.

The other, like Shichao, is a user who uses the iPhone's native input method.

Because in WeChat, the native input method does not support long-press to wrap lines. Some third-party input methods come with "line break", and some can be line breaks by pressing and holding "send".

However, after turning on this setting, there are two points that you also need to pay attention to.

1. Click on the input box, and "Wrap" will no longer appear.

2. Once the text is entered, the "+" will be replaced with the "Send" button.

This means that you won't be able to send images or anything in the middle of typing unless you clear the text.

Set the banner display content

Finally, I can adjust what the banner displays.

Note that this refers to message notifications within the WeChat app.

Notifications outside WeChat have long supported whether to display notification details.

However, when you swipe the official account and Moments, the message banner you receive always displays the other party's avatar, nickname, and message content by default.

Because it's too detailed, it can be a bit embarrassing.

For example, when I was reading an article with a colleague, such a message popped up. Can you hide the handsome thing in that world?

Fortunately, in this WeChat update, we can set the display scale of banner messages.

For example, only "Hao Hao's mother sent a message" is displayed.

Or just show "You received a message", full of privacy, low-key to the extreme.

But that WeChat was in grayscale testing, including Shichao, many people did not receive this function. This new version should be fully launched, if you want to keep a low profile like me, you can update it and try it.

Audio can be turned off at a timed interval

You can find the audio at the entrance of the WeChat applet, and listen to some cross talk or something in it.

In this update, WeChat has added a "timed off" function to the audio, which can be set to stop playing after a period of time or after playing the current audio.
