Some people juxtapose "Male and Female" and "Poisoning in The Human World" as Korean extramarital love movies, which is actually not unreasonable.
First of all, it's all big names who dedicate themselves to movies.

But what "Men and Women" shows is not as simple as "Poisoning on Earth".
Judging from the name of the film, we can also understand that the director wants to explore the relationship between men and women through this film. What they should be when they put aside all their constraints.
Therefore, this movie actually represents a general view of the director's extramarital love between men and women: even if it is beautiful, it is ultimately a void.
In fact, "Male and Female" has two points that are very similar to "The Dream of the Covered Bridge".

But the reason why "Men and Women" can't reach the height of "Covered Bridge Dreams" is that "Covered Bridge Dreams" makes us believe that they are true love, although they take the initiative to give up for responsibility, they never ask each other for it, and they never forget it. The height of extramarital love has been raised to an unprecedented situation.
"Man and Woman", on the other hand, is two lonely people who meet, and after an instant burst of passion, they are timid in the face of responsibility. Years later, this will only be an ordinary cheating memory, and it will not become a lifelong unforgettable love. This story is more like the red dust world, ordinary people who have made mistakes in the marriage relationship.

Normal classic films involving the theme of extramarital love are essentially against extramarital love. The two protagonists in the story are people who have started a family (nonsense).
