This is a ride-hailing service for the self-driving travel platform provided by Baidu Apollo's "Radish Express". At present, in addition to Wuzhen, the platform has also launched related services in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha and other places, with a test mileage of more than 70 million kilometers, becoming a travel choice for many tourists and office workers.
According to Baidu Apollo staff, Baidu Apollo Park is an intelligent networked ecological base with "vehicle-road-cloud-map" as the core, and Baidu's autonomous vehicles have ten technologies such as environmental perception, behavior prediction, and planning control. After the iterative upgrading of products, the cost of Baidu's autonomous vehicles is constantly declining, from the fourth generation of vehicles to the sixth-generation vehicles launched at the end of last year, the cost of vehicles has dropped from more than 1 million yuan to more than 200,000 yuan, and the performance has also been continuously improved.

Industrial development should build a solid foundation of computing power
The innovative development of artificial intelligence is inseparable from the support of computing power. Computing power has become the most dynamic and innovative new productive force today.
As soon as I walked into the "Light of Wuzhen" supercomputing center, I saw a fluted blade server inserted vertically in the cabinet, the lattice between each "blade" flashed with green light, and the "click" sound made by the computer sensor switch opening and closing was constantly heard around, which was spectacular, quite a bit of sci-fi film visual sense.
In the entire computer room, 4 columns and 3 floors are densely covered with 3440 immersion liquid-cooled computers - super computing power, making this the "strongest brain" in Zhejiang.

Unlike air-cooled or water-cooled in ordinary machine rooms, heat dissipation here is carried out by specially treated liquids. Through the outer glass, you can see that the computer is "immersed" in the water, which is still bubbling. "It's a special liquid that doesn't cause damage to the computer. Compared with ordinary computers, it saves energy consumption more than ordinary wind heat dissipation. The "Light of Wuzhen" staff said.
At present, "Light of Wuzhen" has built a supercomputing center and related supporting projects with a total computing power of 180P, and the computing power level has entered the top ten in the world. This year, the "Light of Wuzhen" supercomputing center successfully "advanced", becoming the only supercomputing center in Zhejiang and the 14th national supercomputing center in China.
During the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Zhejiang Provincial Atmospheric Environment Monitoring and Early Warning Forecasting Platform has a 1km*1km resolution meteorological numerical forecast to ensure that the air quality of each venue at all times can be seen. Behind such accuracy is the support of the supercomputing power of billions of times per second of "Wuzhen Light". With its support, the duration of air quality forecasts has been extended from 7 to 15 days, and medium- and long-term forecasts can reach 30-90 days.
At present, the average utilization rate of the national supercomputing center in Wuzhen has reached more than 40%, with a total of 9,874 users. Last year, Wuzhen Light Industrial Park exceeded the output value of 1 billion yuan, effectively transforming super computing power into productivity.
The mainland's intelligent computing power has shown a strong growth trend. From the perspective of infrastructure, the "White Paper on China's Computing Power Development Index (2023)" released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology shows that as of June this year, 25 artificial intelligence computing centers have been put into operation across the country, and more than 20 artificial intelligence computing centers are under construction. From the perspective of equipment supply, in the past six years, the mainland has shipped more than 20.91 million general-purpose servers and 820,000 artificial intelligence servers, and the total computing power of computing equipment has reached 302EFlops.
