Liang Shizheng (1697-1763), also known as Yangzhong, Qianlin, and Wen Lianzi, was a native of Qiantang (present-day Hangzhou, Zhejiang). Liang Shizheng was a major minister during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, in charge of hubu shangshu, bingbu shangshu, punishment department shangshu, gongbu shangshu, and was awarded the hanlin academy master, dongge university scholar, and prince taifu. Liang Shizheng was honest and diligent, proficient in literature, and compiled the "Shiqu Baodi", "Sanxitang Fa Ti", and "Yayin Collection". His calligraphy is highly accomplished, especially good at practicing and picking, and many authentic calligraphy works have been handed down to the world. What is amazing is that this Qiantang man is not only famous for his political achievements, but also has quite exquisite calligraphy.

Liang Shizheng's calligraphy, the earliest learned is Liu Gongquan, and then the main attack on Zhao Mengfu, Wen Zhengming, and finally the essence of Yan Zhenqing and Li Yong's brushwork, forming a dignified and elegant personal style. In his hands, he also compiled the authentic calligraphy of famous masters of the past, "Sanxitang Fa Ti".
