In order to further improve the street childcare service system, meet the diversified needs of families with children under the age of 3, and promote the healthy development of street childcare services, the first community baby house in Xiayang Street was officially opened to the public recently, according to the principle of "government-led, safe and inclusive, territorial management, multi-party participation, and nearby convenience", using existing resources, setting up embedded and standardized childcare service facilities, providing families in need with inclusive services such as temporary childcare and timed childcare at the doorstep.
At 9 a.m., the "Baby House" located at No. 505, Lane 6666, Waiqingsong Road (inside the Sunflower Bilingual Private Kindergarten in Qingpu District) has welcomed its first batch of young guests. After a health check and hand washing, the babies entered a warmly furnished activity space.
The "Baby House" is divided into three spaces: children's activity area, children's reading area, and children's exclusive toilet. The activity area has small entertainment facilities such as slides and kitchenettes, while the reading area provides picture books and various educational toys for children. In addition, the upgrade is equipped with a special washbasin, urinal, and toilet for babies, so that babies can feel the warmth of home in the "baby house".
Ms. Xu, who is paying attention to the child in the "baby house", said that the child is 2 years old, and sending him here can not only relax herself, but also observe the way teachers communicate with the children and learn the skills of guiding the children.
