And in 2012, China introduced the Type 052D destroyer, which has a displacement of 7,500 tons, is equipped with more advanced missile and radar systems, and has powerful long-range strike and air defense capabilities.
The most notable is the Type 055 destroyer, launched in 2017, with a huge displacement of 13,500 tons, making it one of the largest and most advanced destroyers in the Chinese Navy. The Type 055 destroyer is not only equipped with advanced shipborne missile systems, but also has powerful air defense, anti-ship and ground strike capabilities, making it a true multi-purpose destroyer.
