Counterterrorism experts warn: countries that support Israel may be attacked by militants!
Nikkei Asia interviewed Indonesian counterterrorism expert Benny Mamoto said that as Israel launches air strikes on Gaza, causing a large-scale humanitarian disaster, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict may spread beyond the country, and countries that support Israel may become targets by militants.
Mamoto noted that the United States and other countries that support Israel "should have foreseen" that their targets at home and abroad could be attacked by militants. Embassies, hotels, businesses, civilians and government officials in these countries may be targets of retaliation by militants.
Comment: Those who explicitly support Israel are basically Western countries, and Islamic militants who support Palestine are not capable of confronting Israel and Western countries that support Israel head-on, so they generally use terrorist attacks. Western countries are heavily guarded, and militants often attack relatively weakly defended targets abroad, such as embassies and tourists. This is the most likely time, depending on when and where it happens.
The United States, the West and Israel are absolutely powerful, but the history of Palestinian and Arab resistance over the past 70 years has proved that the weak will not be slaughtered, the Palestinians will not yield, and they will not abandon the ideal of statehood.
All countries seek their own security, but not at the expense of the security of others. Endangering the security of other countries will ultimately harm their own security. Only when the West and Israel respect the legitimate rights of the Palestinians can Palestine and Israel coexist peacefully.
