When I was packing up my clutter, I suddenly turned to the "Admission Card" of the year of the college entrance examination of Wata's father, which reminded me of the days of the college entrance examination in our era. Every year on the 7th of July, whether it is a liberal arts student or a science student, this is a day that should be remembered for every Chinese sons and daughters. The 77 Incident, also known as the Lugou Bridge Incident, marked the prelude to the all-out War of Resistance Against Japan. When General Kim Il-nam told us this history, he gave us a perspective that we never had a deep understanding of when we were students. "Why did this war break out not at the border of two belligerents, but on the territory of one country," he asked. "Yes, the aggressor has gone deep into the hinterland! This is a shame for the Chinese nation!

In 1985, Mr. Lao She's novel "Four Generations in the Same House" was adapted into a TV series for the first time. This is the first feature-length TV series in New China. The theme song in the play uses the singing voice of Jingyun drums and is interpreted by Luo Yusheng. Master Luo's passionate singing voice is moving, and the lyrics are unforgettable and unforgettable:

Thousands of miles of sword light and shadow, hatred burns the nine cities.

On the night of the full moon, no one returns, and there is no peace in the land of flowers.

A silent blood, ten thousand wisps of motherly love.

Go first for the shame of the snow country, reorganize the rivers and mountains for the next life!

"Four Generations Together" takes the 77 incident as a historical background, showing the tragic scene of the country's destruction and the country's disgrace. Through "when the pen is tossing and turning, tears flow in my face; Where the tip of the pen reaches, blood drips into rivers", describes the experience of the little people in Beiping Hutong during the Anti-Japanese War, endures humiliation and sorrow, portrays the sincere fear and scrupulous mentality of people in that period, and also shows the story of their awakening at the critical moment of the country's collapse.

People, not awakened, but awakened by pain! "Four Generations Together" is divided into a trilogy of "Confusion", "Stealing Life" and "Famine". In particular, the third part, "Famine", was completed by Mr. Lao She in his apartment in New York in 1948. The work was sought after by American publishers, and Lao She agreed to translate and publish an English version. In 1951, the English version came out, and unlike the current Chinese version, the English version was a complete 100 chapters, renamed The Yellow Storm. In the same year, Japan also released "Four Generations Together", which became a bestseller.

And why is there 13 chapters missing from the Chinese edition? This was mainly because of the Cultural Revolution. After the ten-year catastrophe, Lao She's son Shu Yi found the English version of "Four Generations in the Same House" (that is, the yellow storm) mailed to Lao She by the American publishing house among the returned family raid items. To complement the Chinese edition, scholars of Four Generations translated the last 13 chapters from the English version, allowing the Chinese edition to restore the complete trilogy of 100 chapters.

In September 2017, the Oriental Publishing Center published the classic novel "Four Generations in the Same House" in modern Chinese literature, which appeared in full form for the first time in the form of a million-word novel.

Opening this masterpiece, which is known as "Top 100 Chinese Novels of the 20th Century", one by one vivid little characters appear on the paper, lifelike. Qian Moyin turned into an anti-Japanese fighter because his family was broken and his family died; Guan Xiaohe and Da Chibao couple tend to be inflamed; Mr. and Mrs. Xiaowen died heroically while performing for the Japanese; John Ding, on the other hand, is admiring; Lan Dongyang is boring but ambitious; Inspector Ding is sleek and kind; Li Siye is honest and kind. By revisiting the thoughts, words and deeds of these little people from all walks of life and from the market, we can better understand how to rationally criticize and inherit national culture at the juncture of great right and wrong and the Chinese nation facing danger.

The Chinese people must not forget that the history of the Chinese nation is a history of wars of blood and tears. Under the clouds of war, how fearful and depressed is the sky; How humiliating and hesitant life was under the rule of the invaders; How difficult and difficult the economic collapse of Peiping is; How vulnerable and timid the people of the country are under threat to their lives; After experiencing the baptism of blood and fire, the Chinese nation is rejuvenated and rises in flames! The Chinese nation has a tenacious and unyielding backbone!

"The sky is high and the clouds are light, looking at the flying geese in the south. Less than the Great Wall is not a good man, only 20,000 trips.

On the peak of Liupan Mountain, the red flag swept through the westerly wind. With the long yarn in hand today, when will it bind the Azure Dragon? ”
