Speaking of the most obsessive emperor in history, we must first mention the two idioms of sword love and South Garden love.
The hero of the idiom is our infatuated emperor Liu Qing (Liu Yiji) of the Han Xuan Emperor. Emperor Xuan of Han, Liu Que ,born in the second year of Emperor Zhenghe of Han (91 BC), was the great-grandson of Emperor Wu of Han Liu Che and Wei Zifu. In the same year that Liu Que was born, Jiang Chong, the traitorous minister, falsely claimed that Emperor Wu was ill because of the deception of the witches, and slandered the crown prince Liu Zhao with a pre-buried puppet, resulting in the death of the crown prince Liu Zhao and his family. History calls it the scourge of witchcraft, and Liu Que is Liu Zhao's only grandson.

Liu Inquiry
Affected by the scourge of witchcraft, Liu Zhao's wives and concubines and three sons and one daughter all died, but Liu Yi, who was in his infancy, escaped the disaster and was taken into the county jail and taken care of by the court lieutenant Wei Ji.
In the second year of the Later Yuan Dynasty, Emperor Wu fell ill, and the qi seekers entered Chang'an Prison to say that there was Tianzi Qi in Chang'an Prison, and Emperor Wu ordered his emissaries to go to the jingshi zhuguan prison and kill the prisoners in prison. Feng Ji refused to allow the emissaries to enter, and Liu Yi had to save his life. After the amnesty, Bing Ji sent Liu's illness to the home of his grandmother Shi Liangdi.
Emperor Wu later issued an edict that Liu Yi had been adopted in the Yeting Court, reported to Zong Zheng and included in the clan family, at which point the status of the emperor's great-grandson Liu Yi had been legally recognized. Zhang He was originally a subordinate of Liu Zhao, and he was already very good to Liu Yi, and he paid for Liu Yi to study at his own expense. After Liu Yi had grown up, Zhang He married Xu Pingjun, the daughter of Xu Guanghan, a subordinate official of the Court of Tying. Xu Pingjun was a hard-working and virtuous woman, and in the most difficult days of Liu's illness, not only did not abandon her husband, but relied on him for her life, and used her tenderness to make this fallen prince feel the warmth and love of home.
When Liu Yi was already a Shuren, he and his wife Xu Pingjun had a son named Liu Yi, who was later Emperor Yuan of Han. Less than 100 days after the birth of his son, Liu Fuling, the emperor of Han Zhao, died of illness, so Liu Qing, who had the status of a patriarch of the Han Dynasty, was elected as the sixth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty. In this way, Liu Pingjun's wife Xu Pingjun was also admitted to the palace and given the title of Xu Jieyu. At this time, Sima Huo Guangshang had a young daughter Huo Chengjun who was not married, and the ministers tended to make her empress. Liu Xiang had long expected that Xu Pingjun was from a humble origin, and there would be many obstacles to becoming an empress. So he issued an edict asking his ministers to find for him an old sword that he had used when he was poor. The ministers soon understood what he meant, and jointly wrote a petition requesting that Xu Pingjun be made empress in order to honor the empress.
Liu Yi has been with Xu Pingjun
And the "South Park Love" happened three years later. Huo Xian, the wife of Sima Huoguang, was bent on making her younger daughter Huo Chengjun empress, and in the first three years, Xu Pingjun became pregnant again and gave birth to a girl after full term. During Empress Xu's confinement, Huo Xian sent the female imperial physician Chun Yuyan to add to Empress Xu's tonic soup medicine a traditional Chinese medicine forbidden by pregnant women- to give birth to the appendage and poison Empress Xu. Empress Xu died of poisoning shortly after taking the drug at the age of 19. After that, Huo Chengjun entered the harem as he wished, becoming Empress Huo. Emperor Xuan of Han was so guilty and saddened by Xu Pingjun's death that he posthumously honored Empress Xu as "Empress Gongmei" and buried her in Duling South Garden (in present-day southeastern Xi'an, Shaanxi, Empress Xu's mausoleum is also known as "Shaoling").
Huo Chengjun became empress as she wished, and she flew high and spent money like dirt, which was completely contrary to the frugality and virtuousness advocated by Empress Xu. Liu Yiji pretended to be obedient to him, and Huo Chengjun did not give birth to an heir for Liu Qian. In the second year of the DiJie (68 BC), Huo Guang died, and Liu Xiang held a huge funeral for him. In the third year of the Di Festival (67 BC), the Han Xuan Emperor Liu Yiji re-made Xu Pingjun's father Xu Guanghan the Marquis of Ping'en, and established Liu Yi, who was born with Xu Pingjun, as crown prince. Huo Xian was so angry that he even "vomited blood in anger and vomited blood", and instructed Huo Chengjun to wait for an opportunity to poison Liu Yi. , so several attempts were unsuccessful. In July of the fourth year of the DiJie (66 BC), the Huo family launched an attempted coup d'état, which led to the extinction of the clan, and Huo Guangzi Huo Yu, Huo Yun, nephew Huo Shan, and wife Huo Xian were all killed or committed suicide. In August, Emperor Xuan of Han deposed Huo Chengjun on the pretext of plotting to poison the crown prince and moved him to Zhaotai Palace in Shanglin Garden; twelve years later, in the fourth year of Wufeng (54 BC), he was again moved to Yunlinguan, and Huo Chengjun committed suicide. He was buried in Kunwuting East, Lantian County. The original text of the edict after the abolition: The empress is confused and unethical, carries poison and conspires with her mother Bolu Xuancheng Marquis Xian, wants to endanger the prince, has no mother's grace, is not suitable for the clothes of the Zong Temple, and cannot accept the Mandate of Heaven. Whoops and hurts, he retreats from the palace, and the upper seal has a division. At this point, Liu Qian finally avenged his wife Xu Pingjun.
When Liu Pingjun was in distress, Xu Pingjun did not abandon Liu Yiji; after Xu Pingjun became empress, he carefully took care of the harem. And Liu Yi was able to make Xu Pingjun empress and avenge him. For Xu Pingjun, compared to Ban Jieyu, Wei Zifu and others, she is already very lucky.
As an emperor of a generation, Liu Xiang always loved Xu Pingjun and left a beautiful love story. He is the most obsessed emperor.
