On the eve of the National Day in 2023, about 70 apprentices participated in the series of activities jointly organized by the Meizhou Rural Impression Museum and the Watercolor Summer Base in Chengdong Town, Meixian District. Everyone shuttled through the country roads, visited the ancestral residences and former residences of famous people in Shixia Village, learned about its cultural history, climbed Kung Fu Mountain in Shixia Village, and passed through the Longan Forest. After lunch, the apprentices also played the Internet celebrity swing and experienced the Hakka Songkran activity. Through this activity, everyone had a rough understanding of Ishishita Village, a village full of talents, which not only exercised but also relaxed their minds, and the activities were colorful, meaningful and interesting.

At 8 o'clock in the morning of September 23, the apprentices arrived at the watercolor summer base in Chengdong Town, Meixian District, and the teammates took a group photo first.

34861 is famous in the Meizhou hiking camp, and naturally not to be outdone, it sent the 34861 step team and the overlord flower team to participate in this activity.
The Watercolor Summer Team is a combination of old, middle, and young people who can get rid of the temptation of mobile games and actively participate in outdoor hiking activities.
The hiking team participating in this activity also includes more than a dozen Meizhou outdoor teams such as the invited outdoor team, the Meizhou Wailong team, the Siyou construction team, and the small test cow knife team.
Brother Yi, a senior leader of outdoor activities in Meizhou, invited Brother Yi, the leader of the outdoor team, to present a trophy to the first brother of Meizhou Mill, and thanked the volunteers of Meizhou Mill for their efforts in developing the 42-kilometer hiking trail of Meizhou Mountain Marathon Country Trail.

The 70-person walking team made a splash in the village by passing through the alleys outside the wall of Guangyi Middle School in Meixian District, through large banana groves, and along the country roads of Shixia Village.
The first stop of the day is the talented Ai Ri Lu. The grandson of Zhang Weiyong, a famous publisher and talented poet in Meixian County in the late Qing Dynasty, and Zhang Zuojin, the founder and first captain of the Meixian Qiangmin Sports Association, is from Ai Rilu. Zhang Zhuotian (formerly known as Zhang Zuotian), the lyricist and singer of "Song of China-DPRK Friendship", is also a native of Jinpanqiao, and Zhang Zhuotian's son Zhang Yichen is the current chairman and CEO of CITIC Capital and chairman of the board of McDonald's China.
Afterwards, everyone came to the Xiaochuang Ancestral Hall, the former residence of the famous painter Wu Changshuo's apprentice Sun Zhu Kan. Zhu Kan studied with the grandmaster of freehand flower and bird painting Song Shengyu for 2 years, and he was deeply valued by Song Lao. In 1940, Zhu Kan sent three of his Chinese painting works to Changsha, Hunan to present the famous anti-Japanese general Xue Yue. Next, we went to Qishun Building, the former residence of Zhu Zigan, a former member of the Presidium of the Dongjiang Revolutionary Committee. Zhu Zigan successively served as the Minister of Workers, the Minister of Organization of the Meixian County CPC Committee, a member of the Dongjiang Special Committee, and an inspector of the East Jiangsu Weie. In late October 1929, the Fourth Red Army, led by Zhu De, Zhu Yunqing and others, captured Meicheng and promulgated the Proclamation on Promulgating the Implementation of the Land Policy Program (No. 177), bearing the names of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Gu Dacun, and Zhu Zigan.

Later, the apprentices also visited the Baoshan Building, a cultural relics protection unit in Meixian County. Built in 1915, the Baoshan Building in Shixia Village is a two-story horse-building style dragon house with three halls, two horizontals and one dragon. The decoration of gold ornaments, wood carvings, landscape flowers and bird murals in the house is relatively exquisite and has a strong ornamental character.

Finally, the apprentices came to the former home of Zhu Meiqin, the cover character of the Mauritius 25 dollar note. Zhu Meiqin is a famous patriotic expatriate of Mauritius, he has made an important contribution to Mauritius, and the people of Mauritius have printed his face on the front of the 25 dollar bill to commemorate his great achievements.

After visiting the former residence of celebrities and the ancestral residence of celebrities in Shixia Village, everyone took a break in Shiziling. Shiziling used to be the only way to pass through the ancient road from Songkou, Yanyang and Bingcun to Meicheng, and it was also the way for Marshal Ye Jianying to study for a teenager when he was studying at Dongshan Middle School in Meixian County.
Hiking Kung Fu Mountain in Ishixia Village is one of the important items of the day. Although Kung Fu Mountain in Ishita Village is not high, it is deeply forested and grassy, and it is named after people who practiced martial arts on the mountain in the early years. The hiking trail on the mountain is only accessible to one person, and everyone helps each other overcome difficulties and successfully completes the trekking task.
When descending the mountain, someone found wild persimmons on the side of the road, the golden color looked very attractive, and some people could not withstand the temptation of persimmons and picked all the wild persimmons on the branches.
Going down to the bottom of the mountain, we saw an abandoned forest of tall longan trees, and it is said that there are more than 1,000 longan trees, the largest of which requires several people to hug together.
One hundred years ago, this tall tree longan was popular with customers because of its proximity to Shiziling Ancient Road and its sweet flesh, and many overseas Chinese returning from Nanyang would buy longan under the longan tree in Shiziling. After the popularity of dwarf longan, tall longan once known as "Lingnan Jiaguo" was abandoned by fruit farmers because of the difficulty and danger of picking, and many tall longan became unmanaged "wild longan".
After lunch at the summer base in Shixia Village Watercolor, after a short rest, the apprentices went to the woods on the banks of the Zhouxi River to play the Internet celebrity swing. In groups of three or five, grab the ropes on both sides, spread the legs back and forth, and apply force in one direction at the same time, when the swing reaches a certain height, and then use the opposite force, the swing swings in the opposite direction, and so on. Although the adult world is complicated, at this moment, the stress and worries disappear instantly with the swing of the swing.

Water splashing and water fighting are one of the most important projects today. Some anxious apprentices didn't even have time to change their clothes, so they rushed into the pool impatiently. Some people took up water guns, sucked up the water, and shot at the nearby apprentices for a while, sweeping and sucking, and then strafing again.
Some people picked up small plastic buckets, loaded a bucket of water from the pool, and splashed it on the heads of the people next to them, and in this hot early autumn, a bucket of cool water was splashed, cooling from head to toe. Some people directly held water with both hands and poured it on the body of their apprentices, and on this hot day, Songkran was exciting enough.
The day's activities were varied and motivating, both physical and relaxing, meaningful and fun.
