The RISC-V Working Committee is led by the China Electronics Industry Standardization Technology Association and jointly established by 38 key enterprises in the United Nations. Ni Guangnan and 27 other academicians formed a strategic steering committee to provide strategic guidance for the development route, technology, industry and standardization of the working committee; Ms. Calista Redmond, CEO of RISC-V International Foundation, serves as a special consultant to jointly promote the development of global open source RISC-V architecture standards and the prosperity of the industry ecosystem.

Deputy Director Shi Weikang pointed out in his speech that the RISC-V instruction set takes open sharing as the core concept and adopts the open source model of the instruction set, which has received extensive attention from domestic scientific research institutions and enterprises. He put forward three work suggestions: first, the RISC-V Working Committee should be based on China and face the world, fully investigate and analyze the standardization needs and key areas of the current domestic RISC-V industry, and build a leading, open and international RISC-V standard system; Second, the Working Committee should adhere to the application-oriented construction of industrial ecology, promote the combination of software and hardware, and the integration of production and use; The third is to continue to improve industrial innovation capabilities and promote the standardization and industrialization of RISC-V achievements.

Chairman Hu Yan introduced the establishment of the RISC-V Working Committee and read out the establishment resolution. She pointed out that the working committee should first base itself on China's industrial development, actively carry out the development of RISC-V product efficiency, credibility, compatibility and other standards, and promote the internationalization of Chinese standards; The second is to aggregate domestic industry application needs and resources to create a good RISC-V industry ecosystem.
