iOS17 is officially available
Apple will officially push the official version of iOS17.0 in the early hours of this morning, compared to iOS16, iOS17 is still a normal update, there are no particularly large new features added, and the interface is consistent with iOS16.
In fact, iOS17 I have used the beta version for a long time, and each beta version has also told you all the new changes, so today I will not say all of them, it is too long, if you are interested, you can read my previous article.
Today I will talk to you about seven new features that I personally think are interesting on iOS17.
1: Cut out the image to change the background
The previous smart cutout function is finally useful on iOS17, you can use these cutouts to add to the sticker function, change the background of the photo and other operations.
Long press on the person or object in the photo to add it to the sticker, and then enter the photo editing page, where you can drag the sticker to the photo, and use this function to achieve some unexpected photo effects.
In addition to changing backgrounds and the like, you can also combine other photos to create interesting photo effects.
2: New contact card
Now in the address book, you can now set your own call card style, you can also set the contact's call background separately, and create a personalized call reminder, which is a bit similar to the previous paper business card.
In addition, now two mobile phones can pass business cards to each other when they touch each other. (However, this feature occupies storage is exaggerated)
3: Standby display mode
When charging the iPhone horizontally, a new standby display mode will appear, in addition to the ability to display the time, you can add various widgets to achieve more functions.
At present, many widgets have begun to support this function.
4: Long screenshot function
Take a screenshot in the browser or some built-in applications, and you can see the long screenshot (full-page screenshot) function at the top.
Although it was there before, it could only be saved as a PDF document, but now it can be saved into an album and turned into a picture.
5: Browser encryption
Now after turning on Incognito mode in the browser, face recognition is required every time you enter the browser in the future.
To be honest, I feel that this function is really practical, a small feature that makes me feel good about iOS17.
6: Screen distance control
Go to Settings - Screen Time to see a new screen distance feature.
As the name suggests, if you keep facing the phone screen close after opening, it will remind you to look far away to continue to use, the function is very good, but it feels that the sensing distance is too far.
7: Mental health testing
Now the built-in health function can detect your mental health, in addition to recording your psychological situation daily, you can also fill out a health questionnaire at the bottom, and the system will indicate whether you have mental illness.
By the way, the programmers who developed this feature are also a bit problematic, and this feature will be modified every time in the beta version, and each time the image inside is changed to color.
