The film shows the historical changes of the Asian Games for the first time for more than 70 years, and writes a unique sports epic for Asians. As a sports humanities documentary, this film not only shows the beauty of the power of sports, but also deeply explores the humanistic beauty behind sports, so that people of various countries (regions) can have a more systematic, intuitive and profound understanding of the Asian Games, promote the development of Asian sports, enhance the understanding and identity of different countries (regions) and ethnic groups in Asia, and convey the magnificent theme of "Asian community with a shared future". At the same time, the film systematically sorts out and comprehensively presents the data materials of the Asian Games for more than 70 years, leaving a precious cultural heritage for the Asian Games and has immeasurable historical value.

The first episode, "The Extravaganza," will start with the first Asian Games in 1951, showing the rise and fall of Asia over the past century, and how Asians can express themselves at the Asian Games. The fourth episode "Diversity" presents the understanding of the Asian Games from the dimension of Asian Games culture. The film not only shows the traditional sports camel racing in the West Asian desert, but also the sports competitions such as breakdancing and BMX that have newly added to the Asian Games arena; Through the promotion of taekwondo in the Korea National Technical Institute, the film will lead the audience to think about how traditional Asian sports can go global; Looking at the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, it will be a cultural feast that integrates Asia and the world and becomes more open and inclusive.

Central New Film Discovery Documentary Media, which undertook the shooting and production task, accepted the task in 2020 and immediately set up a film team, which lasted three years and completed the shooting tasks in nearly 20 Asian countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, etc.; Nearly 100 important participants, witnesses and witnesses of Asian sports, such as Wei Jizhong, Huo Zhenting, Lin Dan, Naoko Takahashi, Chuso Vikina, and Tawfik, were interviewed to tell the moving stories behind the Asian Games and interpret the powerful power of Asian sports.

The film will also launch an extended version to meet audiences during the Asian Games.
