Frankly speaking, if it were other countries, we might still be able to understand Huawei's secret moves; But Portugal, who has thick eyebrows and big eyes, suddenly made such a black hand, which is still a little unexpected.

But that's the reality, a very cruel reality.

Therefore, we see that this time Huawei has chosen to be rigid. A petition took the Portuguese government to court.

Since you claim to be a society governed by the rule of law, let the law make the judgment. Despite the fact that this law can remain objective and impartial, to be honest, I also have doubts.

But we have no choice.

Very simple:

1, Portugal suddenly made a black hand, trumped-up charges;

2, Portugal is the secret death hand, the harshest in the whole EU;

3, this sets a very bad precedent and has to attract high attention.

Portugal's reason for blocking Huawei is the result of the so-called compliance with the EU's 5G toolbox, that is, we all hear that the so-called Huawei products are unreliable and pose a threat to national security, and so on.

Is there any evidence?

There is simply no reliable evidence.

A statement from the Portuguese Security Assessment Commission (CSA) is very blunt, because the companies involved come from risks that are not members of the EU, NATO, or OECD.

What is unwarranted?

This is the biggest mystery of the moment.

Looking at the Western media, looking at the replies of Portuguese officials and the European Union, some friends said that although the relevant ban in Portugal did not directly point out Huawei, it exposed "the real purpose of excluding Chinese enterprises without objective and fair standards."

The EU has also made it clear that the ban is Portugal's own decision, that the EU has only provided toolbox assessment guidance, and that the final decision is up to the member states.

In other words, the so-called assessment of the EU has a set of technical evaluation criteria, but what about Portugal? It was purely on the basis of elements of political assessment that they made their own decisions.

The EU sees this in its eyes.

Why is this?

We understand too.

The pressure of the United States on Portugal and the speculation of some Portuguese politicians, so the sharpening of the knife Huo Huo aimed at Chinese companies, and Huawei became the name.

It should be noted that Portugal's restrictions are completely prohibited and block all Huawei 5G products, which is the most severe among all EU countries.

What Germany did not do, what France did not do, Portugal was ahead of the curve.

Portugal has set a dangerous precedent that if it refers to deer as horses, it cannot be ruled out that other countries will follow suit and offer their names to the United States.

So much so that European Commission Commissioner Thierry Breton, who is a little unbearable, frankly said in an interview with Portuguese media: not all of Huawei's products have problems, and problematic products should be reasonably controlled by member states; Blanket prohibitions and exclusions clearly contravene the principle of proportionality and exceed appropriate limits.

Portugal, Portugal, you are so indiscriminate and beaten to death with a stick, what an authenticity.

Therefore, we also saw that the sad and indignant Huawei filed a lawsuit against the Portuguese side in court.

In response to a Reuters inquiry, Huawei replied that Huawei Portugal, as a company officially established in Portugal, seeks to protect its legitimate interests and legal rights in accordance with the law.

Huawei said it hoped the Portuguese courts would "remedy the multiple violations of its rights" and the "significant adverse effects" of the resolution on the company and its partners.

Let the law make a fair decision.

This is the case, but such a thing is obviously not simple, and given the current political climate in the West, will the law necessarily be just?

Finally, three superficial observations.

First, we still have to be sober.

Not impulsive, not to act in anger, but to let go of some illusions.

If we cooperate and obey the United States, the United States will be able to show mercy?

It can only be said that it is a dream.

Is there any evidence that the United States accuses Huawei of threatening US national security? There is no evidence, but the United States just wants to strangle the whole world. There is also the chip field, the United States coerces and lures the Netherlands and other countries, isn't it to prevent China from making breakthroughs in this field?

So, we see two recent paradoxes.

Paradox 1: On the one hand, the United States asks China to cooperate with the United States, and even asks China to break off cooperation with Russia to cooperate with the United States; But on the other hand, China's various extreme pressures, including the suppression of the chip field, including the strangling of Huawei.

Paradox 2: Among the five permanent members of the Security Council, China is the most peaceful one, and it is an international joke that it has not participated in or launched a war in 40 years, but it has been portrayed by the war-fighting Americans as a country that is naturally aggressive and militaristic and expansionist.

In the face of such an America, we must be sober. Especially in the high-tech field, we may also face more violent suppression and decoupling by the United States.

This is actually the United States using its hegemony to conduct a "high-tech war."

It is also not ruled out that Portugal and other similar countries, out of multiple considerations such as ideology, or can not bear the pressure of the United States, to present a petition to the United States.

Second, we still have to have the ability to game.

If you dare to struggle, you must be even better at struggle.

Frankly, it's hard to do that. In the case of Portugal specifically, if we make a big effort to retaliate, it may be effective, but it may also fall into the hands of some politicians, who just want to muddy the water and then put a black hat on China.

What to do?

I always feel that Huawei's initiative to litigate in the West is a very correct approach. It is on the stage of the law that you come up with evidence, don't always be so presumptuous, don't always make cold guns and arrows like this.

Perhaps, I still have some respect for the laws of these countries.

Of course, on another level, the intervention of national forces is also required.

In the case of Portugal specifically, China-Portugal relations are generally good, and Chinese companies have invested more than 100 billion euros in Portugal, which is beneficial to the economies of both countries.

If the Portuguese side is so politically manipulated, if the policy is so unfair, if it can abandon the spirit of the rule of law and economic contract in this way, which company will be China Huawei today?

Is it possible to invest safely?

I believe that the Portuguese side also has to weigh what France and Germany do not do, why Portugal should rush to the front.

I believe that Huawei, which cannot be killed, and our great country, have this game ability, and they are on the right side of history.

Third, we must have a breath of energy.

What gas?

Don't cause trouble, but don't be afraid of it. There are difficulties, but overcome them.

I remember that in a previous internal speech, Ren Zhengfei specifically mentioned that in the Huawei canteen, a propaganda poster was pasted, a tearful propaganda poster.

It was during World War II when an American reporter stopped a Chinese soldier on his way to the front.

American journalist: How old are you?

Chinese soldier: 16 years old.

American reporter: Do you think China will win?

Chinese soldier: China will definitely win.

American reporter: What are you going to do when China wins? Marry and have children? Or continue to join the army?

The Chinese soldier smiled: At that time, I had died in battle.

Behind the calm dialogue is the firmness of death.

It's tragic, but it's triumphant!

This reminds me of another Huawei propaganda poster, of an Il-2 plane full of bullet holes from World War II, beaten like a sieve in battle, but still kept flying and eventually flew back safely.

It is the kind of courage to die and then live: there are no scars, where the skin is rough and thick, and the heroes have suffered many times since ancient times.

We still have to be confident.

Wenninck, CEO of Dutch lithography giant ASML, has previously warned that he is worried that the US strangling policy will eventually prompt China to accelerate the research and development process, which will definitely take time, but "the more you put pressure on them, the more likely they are to redouble their efforts" and eventually create lithography equipment that can rival ASML.

Believe in the power of the market, believe in the power of technology, believe in the power of openness, try to block the way of others, and eventually will only block your own way.

This world is really not so beautiful, but this is the reality, everything still has to be done, and in the end it depends on strength to speak.

We must also know that this world, everything that cannot kill us, will make us stronger.
