The accident passed
According to eyewitness and passenger accounts, flight CA4039, an Airbus A321neo model, took off from Terminal 2 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 6:28 p.m. and is expected to arrive at Terminal 2 of Changchun Longjia International Airport at 10:15. During the flight, the weather was in good condition and nothing unusual was encountered.
At around 10:05 p.m. that night, the plane began to descend and touched the runway around 10:20. However, during braking, the plane suddenly lost control, deviated from the runway centerline to the right, and rushed towards the end of the runway at high speed. In the parking area at the end of the runway, there is an airport vehicle undergoing a routine inspection and does not notice the abnormal condition of the aircraft. The aircraft collided violently with the vehicle, causing serious damage to the front of the aircraft and the vehicle.
Within seconds of the collision, the plane's crew quickly activated emergency procedures and directed passengers to evacuate the aircraft through an emergency slide. At the same time, fire and rescue personnel from the airport also rushed to the scene and carried out fire extinguishing and rescue work on aircraft and vehicles.
