The construction project of Mengyuan Village Fitness Square is one of the provincial sports and people's livelihood projects in Pingyang County. This year, Binh Duong County included the construction of grassroots sports facilities in the construction task of sports and people's livelihood practical projects in 2023, and listed it as one of the 155 projects of the People's Livelihood Happiness Command. Grassroots sports facilities have been built, including 2 urban gyms, 5 rural gyms, 3 cage football fields, 4 community multi-functional sports venues, 3 gateball courts, 1 village-level national fitness square, 6 hiking trails and 2 basketball courts. Up to now, Pingyang County has completed the task of building sports venues for people's livelihood in 26 provinces, cities and counties ahead of schedule. Among them, there are 10 provincial-level projects, 6 city-level projects and 19 county-level projects.
Similarly, the Nantian Village cage football stadium in Shunxi Town, which was completed in July this year, has also enjoyed policy dividends. "The total investment of this football stadium is nearly 200,000 yuan, and through the policy, we can get 150,000 yuan in subsidies, which gives the small mountain village the 'confidence' to carry out the construction of basic sports facilities and improve the happiness of the villagers."
